I know exactly what you mean! EA has the WORST customer service, but if you're like me and persistent, just stay on the chat with them and keep arguing your point, just refuse to end the chat, cause they won't 99% of the time or they probably get in trouble.
I always end up with a percentage off code of some kind, and once I even got a FREE Mass Effect 2 PS3...
The Rep disconnected from me. I filed it all under my case file. It's noted.
Funny you say that. The whole point was all I wanted to do was cancel so I could order more stuff from them and get free shipping on the order. And one of those games was ME2 for the PS3 since it's on sale for $9.99.
It's ridiculous, I'm literally saying cancel my order that hasn't shipped, or give me something here (free shipping, etc...mind you not in those exact words like a massive demand) and I will just gladly order more things without wanting to cancel my other order.
What do I get? An Indian guy who sits there and just repeats the order hasn't shipped yet, he won't cancel it, and then mentions wait for a tracking number (which literally made no sense) acted as if my situation was fixed by him and he disconnected.
I basically told EA work with me just the slightest bit and I will give you loads more money.
But apparently waiving the equivalent of $7 or just cancelling an order and restarting over (to which it would've qualified for free shipping without anything extra being done) isn't worth moving a few more products out of the warehouse and bringing in more revenue/sales.
