I'm convinced I got the job I am currently in because I could start earlier than the other candidates (unemployment has it's advantages)...10 years later, and I'm still here!
 
It's actually my most recent work experience ;)

#83: It helps that I was an RA for their dept for 4 years (including under the person who I sent my resume to the last year), and work about 50 steps from her office now.
