wow... I'll definatley be stopping in at my local Eb games to pick up a dreamcast.
 
not sure what FSI means either, i just saw it on the paper and typed excatly what the paper said

Your EBs have 12 DCs? Wow, mine never seem to have them (plenty of N64s at one of them, though).

I wanna guess, FSI = For Special Individuals? (not available to the public? ). Any other guesses?
 
Some decent deals but not that great as far as games are concerned. I would buy a Dreamcast or a N64 but i already have them.
 
hmm i might get space channel 5, 10 bucks in a damn good price, also lookin at that tiger woods game as i remember that was marked 10$ so if its 5 ill be picking that up
 
There's that $10 mail in rebate for Redeemer as well. Haven't had any luck finding the real coupons myself, though.
 
I need another DC controller so I guess I'll go ahead and buy the system. They sell used controllers for 7.99. The system, after my GMR discount, will be 8.99. So, I'm kinda getting the actual system for a buck!
 
you don't get 10% off used systems.

i'm going to pick up SC 5 also. in fact, i was just about to pick it up today for $15.

btw, brand new DC controllers are 50% off $10 at Gamestop. i got one today for $5 and a clear blue VMU for $8.

My GameStop does not have any Dreamcast stuff (new or used). Literally. Anything they get in goes straight to the back and then sent away.

You got a link to the flier or whatever? I'dd hate to go in and see the systems for like $30 and be like 'uh, i saw they were $10 online somewhere'; and them be like 'no'. I hate store employees.
 
hey if I go and buy a dreamcast, space channel 5, and a N64 now can I go and get a price adjustment on those days?

(Because my nearest Eb has only two instock now)
 
Anybody in the NYC area know which EB has any Dreamcast's left? The one in Mahnattan Mall and Union Square Didn't have any last I checked.

But set sounds like he knows what he's talking about. Does that mean a lot of people will know about it and EB will be all out of N64s and Dreamcasts? $20 for both is SOOO cheap. It makes me ache with excitement. It's a cheapasses dream!
 
if ya go to the south sautoket (spelling?) gamestop on long island before the smith haven mall on 25-a, they had a massive bin easily over 30 DC's in the bin, then a loaded shelf with 30% off an you can use the gamestop 10% off card with it
 
Digi....They have already dropped them to $15.00 and when I went locally in NY the supply in my area was already limited. Not sure about where your at but I would take a trip and see what your stores stock is like. If they dont have alot and you really want them I would suggest you pick them up now at $15.00 a piece.
 
I could be wrong, but I think a lot of people will have a hard time finding space channel 5, or at least I have lately. I don't know a single store who carries it around here. CompUSA had it for like $9 on pre-order a while back, then they sold it for $13 but didn't have any in stock again. I got it at the store I work at but we only got two copies and they both sold out the first month. If someone could let me know where they find it, that would be cool. Peace.
 
Also, TRU has new Sega brand controllers for $1.98. Even if you looked already, try again. My local TRU got about 10 in a week ago.

I am thinking about doing that deal also. If I buy one though I want one in the type of shape I would care for one with and not all messed up. I hvae 2 games I do not mind getting rid of and for only 30 bucks its not that bad of a deal to upgrade.
 
goukill1120...I live around Newburgh N.Y, I went to the EB in the Middletown mall and all they had were N64. They made a call though to the new EB by the Newburgh mall and they had 3 DC left. 1 was broken and the other 1 was a black DC. I work by Poughkeepsie and the EB there had some left but the associate only knew he had more N64 than DC.

Was able to pick up Space Channell 5 though used for $3.99. Only store I was able to find that in up here.
 
Thanks 4 the answer notoriousxbox. I guess I'll try again in the city or online. I got a bunch of Dreamcast games but my system died.

The stupid shit is how it died. I borrowed a friends copy of the Smash Pack and after I played Shining Force it stopped reading games.

Then A couple of months later I tried to see if it would work again and too my suprise it did. Then I like the idiot I am decided to see if I could resume my Shining Force save and it killed the system again permantely.

Just picked up the flyer and for some reason even though EB normally does run the trade 4 for 1 game deal they are running a promotion where if you trade 4 games you get $40 off FF:CC, Ninja Gaiden, the newest Bond game, and something else that escapes me right now. I'll have to check the flyer later. But anyway at the bottom it says they will take any 4 non-sports games for 40$ in credit, some exclusions apply. I read the non-sports thing and got my hopes up, and then they hit me with the exceptions. Oh well, not the greatest deal ever anyway.

Yeah, I have the flyer in my car right now, it has all of the info about the other sales (9.99 games, 14.99 games, 29.99 used GBA SP with trade-in, etc), but right on the front page it has get 40$ off select games with trade in of 4 games. I'll see if I can host a scan at some point tomorrow, if I can I'll definitely post a link here.
