This may have been posted, but tomorrow a lot of EB's will be ending the buy two preowned get one free and starting back up the more you buy the more you save promotion. It will be buy 2 get 20% off with GMR card, 3 get 25%, and 4 or more get 30%. This may be better for some people depending on the price of the games they are purchasing. Also, word is that the trade in 4 non-sports games promotion will be adding some additional non-sports games exclusions, probably meaning games like JSRF, Haven, Fantasion, and other will be excluded. You might could be a jerk and still get them to do it if you had one of the flyers for the trade in 4, but who knows.

Note, if you don't have the GMR subsciption thing, its -10% off, so 10%, 15%, and 20%

Its for all preowned games, all systems. The trade in deal is basically if you trade in 3 games (non-excluded, non sports) you get an additional $10 trade in. 4 games gets you another bonus (i forgot how much) and 5 games is $16.

Those numbers are from memory, I might be wrong.

Thanks, I'll try to pick up some PS2 and N64 games during the sale. Although Gamestop and Gamecrazy are the best spots to get N64 games, I might as well get them at EB during this sale.

AFF25 does have some kind of limit though. I think it's tied to your account. It's either a dollar amount or a certain amount of times you can use it. I made a few orders using it but now I keep getting a window that pops up telling me something along the lines of "You've reached your limit for this promotion."

I think you're off by one or two numbers. At least, locally, at my EBs if you trade in 5 the maximum extra bonus is $25, which actually i think is pretty decent, since we could recoup the cost of any $5 games we may have purchased. *cough*

That said I think it's $16 for 3, $20 for 4 as well. At least in southern NY.

Can you still trade in 4 get ff:cc at the store for free? Im not talking online but at the store. I just called eb they said no but they will give the 16% off. can any1 confirm? I live in Long Island

Yeah my bad, I went in to work, and saw the signs, and kicked myself. Sorry ya'll.

So some more correct information hopefully... the tradeins only work for GC, PS2 and XBox, not GBA, PC or DVDs... the purchasing of preplayed games works for PC and GBA also, but not DVDs.

sorry again

i had just tried to jump on this 4-for-1 $50 game deal. I had gotten mgs2, sub rebellion, x squad, and gun griffon blaze for roughly $26 yesterday. This afternoon, i tried to get final fantasy crystal chronicles using the trade-in and the salesperson brought out a list of games.

While she was looking through the pages, I noticed that the cover said something like 'excluded games for 4-for-1 trade-in deal beginning feb. 1, 2004'. She found out that all 4 of my games were on the list and said that I couldn't get in on the 4-for-1 deal. Instead, she would give me $5 in credit for all four. Bleh... I just returned them to get my money back.

This is probably nationwide as of now because this list is in effect as of yesterday.

Same problem here:

The long list of games came out and I (actually a friedn) was denied the trade in deal.) He should ahve jumped on it sooner... looks liek the old days of CC deals are gone for good.
