^^^ I'm really surprised NBA Live 2004 is PO. This was on clearance at my local Target a few months back for $3 - I should have stocked up. It is especially strange since they have excluded most of the 2005 sports titles even.

I have a wierd pricing story... I was in an EB price checking some games and didn't have one with me so I asked about it by name - Room Zoom for Xbox. I also didn't have the list from here handy at the time (though looking at that I would have thought it was PO). He said it qualified. So I opened the copy I bought at Fry's before I went into another EB later that day. Well, sure enough, they tell me that it is excluded - but they are calling it "Micro" something. Is that the "Micro Mayhem" I see in the exclusion list? If so, that is pretty wierd since those words aren't used anywhere on the game cover - the full name is "Room Zoom - Race for Impact". Or do they have a UPC mixup in the system?

See, the first guy looked it up by name but the second scanned it. So maybe there's a mismatch with name and UPC and there really is a qualifying "Room Zoom" but you don't get the right UPC for it. Can someone who works at EB check the system next chance they get? If Room Zoom is really in there as PO maybe they can override it.

Lucikly I had a Beyond Good & Evil in the car so I went and got that and was able to finish the deal. But I'm a little peeved that I opened the Room Zoom - I would have just returned it to Fry's had I known... Oh well, no big loss - GR will probably give me $3 for it (EB quoted 75 cents!), and I paid $5. Or maybe it really does work if they override - so I'll hold on to it for a few more days to be sure.

Along with NBA Live 2004, I'm surprised MVP Baseball 04 PS2 isn't on that list either. The sports games are weird.

Hell, I don't know how Legends of Wrestling 2, SSX Tricky (XB), UFC Tapout 2 arent on that list either.
Makes me happy though, I had them left over from last years CC $5 sale. Not even sure why I bought them. Metropolismania too. I tried trading that in tons of times with no success.

you do know that the list varies from store to store. back when it was trade 2 get 10 bucks more 1 store said that games is on the list and wouldnt take it but another store would take them and say other games store 1 took was on the list

I was at Best Buy trying to get the usual trifecta of Midway, BG&E, and Metal Arms but this particular Best Buy didn't have any of those. So I noticed several other $9.99 titles that aren't on the list. I had skipped over these before because I assumed they would be POX. So, does anyone know (before I open them!) if the following *really* work? They don't seem to be in the usual sets that people are trading in from Best Buy:

Starsky & Hutch
Rocky (not Rocky Legends)

Also noticed the following $10 games: Terminator 3 Rise of the Machines (I didn't get this because it just says "Terminator" on the exclusion list and I wasn't sure if that meant this one or not), Hunter: The Reckoning, Pinball Hall of Fame (OK, haven't actually seen this in a while but I have in the past), and Strike Force Bowling.
 
Just a follow-up - I went to EB today and Starsky & Hutch, Bad Boys (which we knew for sure already), and Kelly Slater Pro Surfer (which is POX on GC but for some reason PO on PS2) all worked. I also had the guy check Rocky and he said it would work. With the exception of Kelly Slater Surfing, those are all $5 games at Best Buy (after coupon).

I believe FYE is a good choice for Room Zoom, unless you don't have one close or they're overstocked.

Yeah, I've never been able to trade things at FYE - they either weren't taking games or didn't want the ones I had (one was Ratchet & Clank UYA - and this was in Feb or so, so I didn't bring old stuff in!). I'll probably just bring it to GR to get rid of it. Maybe I'll save it for my next trip to DC though and give it a try at FYE one more time.
 
Has anyone tried VF: Evo since the price changed to $7.99?

I didn't see this on the list but isn't Dark Cloud POX'd. I saw a copy with a recent price sticker (from July) and it says POX.
 
Sucks that neither Corvette, Super Truckers, or Ford Racing 2 work. They have a bundle of these 3 games at Wal Mart for $10.

Most EBs will reject this . . . three different games . . . get Starsky and Hutch for $5 after coupon at BB . . . can't believe that one works.

Every month when? Like on the first of the month, or does it vary? Basically, will this list be changing in a few days, hence before the PS2/XBX trade-in deals come?

ok, but can you just put the games you added to the list in a little blurb, so some of us dont' have to print out another copy of the list, or look through the list and find what is not on the old list

so we can just write it down on our old lists
 
Now that the list is out, what are people getting when they trade games not on this list in? What are the current good trade-in deals? I saw on the ebgames website that they are doing a trade in 5 games not on the list and get madden 06 free and another that you can trade in 4 and get some nascar game free, but what are the other good, current trade in offers?

jrbernal83, it seems there has been an update to the POX list just in the last few days as many CAG's have found Metal Arms is now POX. I know you are busy and a little mad at some CAG's over the Nintendogs deal discussion, but many of us here really appreciate what you have done. Could you see if any others have switched to POX? Thanks in advance!
