How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

yeah, i had this random cheap lego ps1 game on my wishlist to use as shipping fodder...now it's suddenly 5.99!! that's triple its old price. sigh.

EDIT: scratch that...seems that prices on the wishlist page are just wrong, today.

Ha, well, they're pulling a Simpsons Hit & Run with Pac Pix... you can buy it new for 19.99 or used for 24.99.

i just cancelled my tekken 5 arcade stick bundle order, so if you missed out on it today, they'll probably have it tomorrow.
 
TONS of games just went way up in price. Primarily PS1 games. Looks like EB's journey to GameStop's dark side is complete.

someone tell me quick if Hot Wheels Highway 35 for GBA is a good game to get (value and gameplaywise). i paid $14 for it but i can still cancel the order.

yeah I noticed that as well. Although Area 51(ps1) dropped from $11.99 to $6.99, good news for those collecting light gun games.

glad to hear you got it! i was excited when i found it. i think there were only 2 copies in-stock.

good find for today include R-Type Delta, Racing Gears Advance, and Hot Wheels Highway 35 (not sure if this is good?).

Good... I'll keep an eye out next time. I saw the first (Ages) is at my local EB, Seasons was sold out before I could look, hopefully its there too. Where's the next B2G1F??

I didnt see it show up. Its my first time trying to get in on a morning update though, so not sure if I just missed it or if it wasnt there.
 
Wow, I order Mario Party 2 on Monday and it got here yesterday. Pretty sweet. Anyway, I'm surprised no one bought FFVII or dragon warrior vii yet
 
Wow that is pretty fast shipping. I ordered Dragon Warrior VII the other day along with Tales of Destiny and Suikoden. It seemed like they had quite a few. I just got to hope that all mine come in complete....yea sure like that is gonna happen ...
 
Haha yea, but i think they just had a handful so it was easy. After i checkout I checked Tales of Destiny and Dragon Quest VII and they still had a couple. Suikoden disappeard quickly though. Don't know if i was the only one to grab it.

how much was R-type? I've been looking for that one as well.
 
They really raised the prices on the cheap dreamcast games. They had sega nfl 2k for .99 b/c, sega nfl 2k1 - 1.49 b/c, and NBA showtime, Sega nba 2k, Get Bass, Sega NHL 2k, NFL Quarterback Club 2000, and wwf attitude were all 1.99 but got bumped back up to 4.99 b/c. I was really starting to like their selection of dirt cheap dreamcast games. :cry:

Project Snowblind is 6.99 at blockbuster with 25 % off.. the game is alright, I think it has too much stuff for it to be fun, the gravity gun ripoff was lame in my opinion and yeah just seems like it wished it was a funner game.. but its a great multiplayer game if you want a break from halo.
 
Congrats on the Guitar Hero! Got my Maximum Force and Die Hard Trilogy today both disc only, but at least Max Force worked with my gun when I tried it. I'm thinking the Guncon compatiblity might just be broken, but for a $3 gun I can deal with it.

I think everyone has Final Fantasy VII by now. By the way, its gone up since last November. It used to be $12.99 for the longest time, now its $19.99.

Final Fantasy Tactics and a ton of other PSX games have also gone up....

Well if you are lucky and get a mint/complete one, you can sell it on ebay for around $40-$50. I don't think I'm going to take those odds though.

Final Fantasy VII? $40 - $50 on eBay? Damn, I saw it brand new at CC a few months ago for $7.49, and I have a mint copy in my personal collection... I also see the original print alot in pretty good condition. Makes you wonder why anyone would pay that much... which is why I'm thinking you may be mistaking it for something else. But with Mario selling for $60, who really knows?

What is shocking is how fast this game went up... I sold a Greatest hits verison right after Xmas for 29 shipped. BUT I sold a NON Greatest hits Back in OCT for 14 bucks Crap.

Did anyone who ordered Steel Battalion get it yet?

I got mine but it was just the game. The receipt clearly said "Game + Contoller" and the UPS label was for a 21 pound package but all I got was the game in a little box. Now I have to send it back and get a refund. me = disappointed. I'll use that money on something better ... like the gigantic lego Star Destroyer. Yeah. Thats the ticket.

hahah wth?? so they charged you $100 or whatever for just the game? that's ridiculous.
