Here's the new thread. If there are any other links that you would like added or removed (sorted by system, rare games, etc), let me know and I'll take care of it as I have time. Everything else is included from the previous OP. N64 used link is here now, Playstation only shows used items, and DS (new and used) links are added.

FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

We're having some issues in trying to close the old thread + unsticky it, and get this one stickied, so bear with us while we figure out what's going on.

My guess is that since the thread has the exact same name as the old one, that might be the issue.

Appended to the name, see if that helps.
 
Got my first complete PS1 today, and of all the games to come complete it was frickin' Sheep. It costs like a $1.50 something AC, and it was in near pristine condition, go figure.
 
I knew this would happen! Strider 2 just came in today, but only with the disc labeled "Stider 2" No second disc. No actual Strider 2 game. RAGH! :bomb:
 
man who the hell is hoarding all these games. someone bought all 9 discworlds? good thing i changed my mind and didn't want it. someone bought all the DDR Mario Mixes yesterday too.
 
Maybe its just a case of people finding out about this update, and actually getting the games before anyone else, and not hoarding. It is that time of year, where you have to act quick to get what you want or deal with not getting it at all. Got to have some optimism this time of year.
 
In some of these cases, I wonder if it is an error when stock vanishes so quickly . . . although there are likely hoarders who don't identify themselves (why would they?).

Interesting, I checked Klonoa and Klonoa 2 is in (has been a lot lately) but it jumped from $14.99 to $19.99 bc

I didn't see anything interesting in this update. Zoo Tycoon DS (19.99 ac) was briefly instock.

I tend to agree with you, but when 7 copies vanish and no one here even claims buying one . . . pretty fishy.

Very true and its in peoples nature to do it. The worst I would hoard, if I were to do it and afford it, would be an extra copy for family or in hopes of getting a complete copy or completing a game that I am missing things from.

I hate hoarders as much as the next guy, but to each his own, even if it is taking away from those of us that are trying to expand our collections and playing libraries alike.

True, always expect the worst, that way the best surprises you. I am sure its probably a few people, rather than a single person. But then again, you never know. Some people always seem to chime in after the game is gone, those are the ones that make me suspicious.
 
I'm guessing that one single person took all the Discworlds. They were still there at least 5 minutes after the update. I checked the stock right before posting and there was 9. I checked the link right after posting and they were all gone.
 
You guys are all crazy ;) I only have two days to sleep in every week, and even the possibility of Earth Bound like last week couldn't get me out of bed on a Saturday.

I'm even crazier for falling asleep at about 8 last night and getting up at 2 this morning. Just happened to give it a glance this morning, and nothing too spectactular.

And about DOA: XBV, it was sort of a joke, hence the smiley.
 
Today I got in the mail my Xbox used copy of Finding Nemo - only to find it's got the Xbox game and green tin, but packaged with the PS2 cover and instructions. WTF?!? I'm definitely returning this one to get the correct edition.:roll:

That's weird.. you mean it's got the Xbox case, but the inserts are for PS2? Don't see that every day.

Yep. That's exactly how it is. It's weird. I'm going to go to a nearby EB that has it in stock and exchange the inserts. The disc itself is flawless.

It probably wont last you too long (I hear its only about 10 hours in length) but it looks very good to me. I might bite on it sometime next year after I finish all my games that I get for the holidays (and after the huge pile of unplayed games that I have now). I also like the cover art for it
