FAQ:
How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

The bottle looks like this:

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 7:30am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?

Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

wow glad i bought Steel Battalion off my cousin for $80. and to think i could have haggled it down to $60 i bet. my xbox is in the mail right now.

ps, how is DHL shipping? anything special or annoying?

I'm really tempted to buy this one... but I have too much to play now. It'll probably go down even further in the future, so thats not such a bad thing. I usually dont like FPS games, but this is from the creators of Deus Ex, so its worth getting sick over. (I get motion sickness from FPS games, except for Halo oddly enough...).

Oh, and for those who check out the link in my signature, sorry for not updating these past few days... Been very busy! Expect an update by Saturday, though! (or possibly before then...).

1) Auto-Complete boxes. Type the first few numbers and the rest will fill in.

2) Yes, just type in the number on the back as a coupon code.

i just return the one i got back around dec 20... came disc only with broken case... Wasnt worth 33 bucks shipped when i found someone here who was selling DISC ONLY for 15.... broken case isnt worth 17 bucks to me .
Is it worth 18? 'Cuz that's what 33-15 equals.

LOL.

It seems like they send me the worst copy's of these games they can find. All the current generation used games I get have at least 3 more stickers and really gross cases than what I can find in the store. The PS1 games I have ordered have been game only and the last one I ordered even had stickers right on the CD. Ah well I guess I get what I pay for =/
thanks, number! nice to get a B-A-M for a reasonable price, and on my fav old system to boot!
*sigh* You're the one. You're the one that bought it this morning right as I added it to the cart. I was so happy to have finally found that game. Tell me what condition it arrives in, will ya?

It doesn't play anything like Deus Ex and there are much better FPSs. Plus while I've heard it's by the creators of Deus Ex it isn't even made by the same company (Crystal Dynamics made PS, Ion Storm made DX).
Stay away from Project Snowblind. I felt ripped off for paying $9.99 for a used copy, just not worth it.
Si.

Ha. I saw that Walmart post and was going to point out EB had them as well. I thought I'd check the number in stock first, but by the time the page refreshed, they were all gone.
People are telling their personal bad experiences with the games and you start quoting gamerankings? You quote gamerankings when no one knows wether the game is good or bad.
Project Snowblind is a classic example of the gaming media not giving a bad review because of advertising dollars. This game really sucks. I had the unfortunate opportunity to get the beta of this god awful game before it came out. I couldn't believe the reviews it was getting.

Take your vanilla FPS, add below average graphics, bad controls, and a very minor attempt at some innovation (a few different 'classes' of characters, essentially just different starting weapons), and you get Project Snowblind.

Theres nothing terribly appealing about it, and theres enough wrong with it, that even the most average, unoriginal FPS is better. I liked Deus Ex. This is not Deus Ex. Maybe if you said they took everything good about Deus Ex, and threw it away, then you might be on to something.

I quote gamerankings when I have played the game and know it's a very good game.

In that situation you should tell people you like the game a lot, not point out others that like it a lot.
damn it. site was going super slow and lost guitar hero.
I slept in again, so I missed it, too. Can anyone tell me how much irritating stick was?

It's either 1.49 or 1.99 b/c, but I wanna say 1.49. Just tested out Time Crisis, and apparently the Nyko SuperCobra that I bought isn't working with it. All the buttons are registering with the controller, so I hope it's just the game. Otherwise it looks like I'm gonna have three PS1 light gun games and nothing to shoot with.

lol okay sir. Sorry to offend your sense of running the board.

So, I did really like this game and it doesn't matter what any other reviewer says about it. I won't take this opportunity to show others here that it did get high reviews from a number of sources in order to help them make a better buying decision. I also won't point out that other individual people liked this game a lot, because those people are not me. I would like to provide links to inform people about the various viewpoints about this game, but alas that is not permissable. Hopefully my single opinion will help someone here thinking of buying this game.

:)

In my opinion, gamerankings should be sited in nearly all cases when the question of a game's quality comes into question, as it is one of the most reliable sources for overall review scores for every modern game on the market today.

Plus, it's common practice on this site to quote a score in order to give users a quick idea of the quality of the game prior to purchase, especially if it's a deal that may run out in a short period of time.
btw, i dunno how this came into stock suddenly but there are 8 left @ 22.99 each.

edit: they are BRAND NEW too!
Back! 4 left!

I picked one up Monday, many thanks for posting this! :D

I guess it must have been a reprint. I'm getting it to play anyway, so it really doesn't matter. :)

If RAD is a reprint, maybe the copies will have the Square Enix logo on it instead of the Enix logo from when the game first came out.
I didn't see anything today but my Norse by Norsewest arrived yesterday!

Disc only of course but I don't care because it is $1.50 of gaming goodness . . . nice that that the gameplay didn't change much from SNES to PS.
I actually picked up an old rental copy at Gamestop B&M a month ago. The disc didn't work but it was complete....

I probably would have returned it but the store is like 45 minutes from my house and not worth the $5 I paid for it.
If RAD is a reprint, maybe the copies will have the Square Enix logo on it instead of the Enix logo from when the game first came out.
If it's actually a reprint, then yes.

They updated the logo on the newer prints of Final Fantasy X and the other Square games.
Hmmm....my Arc the Lad Collection still hasn't come yet. I ordered it on the Dec. 16th, and the last update that the USPS website says is for the 22nd of Dec. Does it usually take saver shipping this long for stuff to ship when ordered around the holidays like that? Should I consider contacting EB's support? I'm not really that interested in the copy from EB that much anymore since I'm sure it'll just come all busted up, and I'd rather have a somewhat better looking copy from eBay even if it costs a little bit more, I just was curious since I don't want it to arrive too late to return.
Yeah, the copy I got is eh. I'm still debating whether to keep it or not. the case was totally jacked, the disc were resurfaced and they are the same disc art that I already have. I was hoping for the other disc art. Oh well.
Project Snowblind is a classic example of the gaming media not giving a bad review because of advertising dollars. This game really sucks. Thanks for informing me on this, Dafoomie and the others who posted their personal experiances on Project Snowblind. I thought it was gonna be just like Deus Ex (but maybe with a little more action thrown in) but after what dafoomie said I will definitely steer clear of it now.

I'm so happy, I got my 'In Cold Blood' in the mail today! The first disc looks kinda eh, but disc two looks like it has never been touched, which makes me wonder why EB even bothered resurfacing it... hmm.... Anyway, it came in some weird ass double decker 2 disc case. When In Cold Blood was released it was in a small double disc case, not a double decker one. Weird. At lesat it came with the back cover. Even if it wasent complete, I'm just happy to finally have this game, as its super hard to find and it was only $1.49 - other stores like Gamestop want $18.99 for it!

A brand new Rad is in stock, but I'm not gonna just buy a $23 game cause its rare -unless it was something I really wanted. I have no hopes of reselling this one either, so for those who want it here it is:

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/219767.asp?siteID=FKSJxY2VJAk-GpBgsL0Cx120ScqhyANZkg

Oh, and for that person who needed to play those three PSX light gun games... Genocidal...A PSX light gun is in stock for $7.99 BC... Though I'm guessing it will come in crappy condition. I'm just guessing though.

I just saw one at Compusa today for 19.99, and I believe it did have the Square Enix logo, so I'm betting it is a reprint

This one is getting a little post-heavy.

I'd suggest a new one, and when the new one gets made, have it have a slightly different name.
