Can someone explain why these are now getting more expensive than getting them new when they were released? Are they really that rare?
Go ahead and wait for the re-release. It won't happen. Capcom does not have the Marvel licence any more.

Up and up they go...
is this bubble bobble y'all covet so much the NES or PS1 version? if it's the NES, i'm going to smack myself in the head for not picking it up at Gamecrazy.
I sure hope its the NES version everyone else is talking about. Its a game I could play on emulation without losing too much in the translation, so I don't really need to purchase it, but its always nice to have a cart of a great game.

it's the NES version however the ps1 version is worth significantly more. the nes version is only worth around $15 or so.. no big loss for you.

World Rally Championship (PS2) - $3.99

WRC is my absolute favorite US-released rally racer on any system. Ups the ante over Sega Rally Championship (DC) (although I can't wait to see Sega Rally 2006), and is better (IMO, obviously) than Rallisport 1 & 2 or the Colin McRae Series.

Sure, those other rally titles may have prettier graphics and more options, but when it comes right down to it, rallying is all about driving fast down narrow and harrowing paths with just you, the car, and the navigator, versus the allmighty and pitiless clock.

WRC just has the best overall presentation. Introduction to the different countries is done by the official WRC voiceover guy (they have the license), rather than just presenting you with your next track and the name of the country. There's not as much car customization/tweaking, but there is still a shakedown and body/part damage in the race, and a great replay mode that's actually enjoyable to watch (and gives you time to lower your blood pressure before the next leg).

Excellent track design and good engine/road sounds make the game very immersive and intense. If you are a fan of rally games at all, then you must own this game.

Good for all of us who bought it at release...

Whoa! something weird happened guys.. i checked my email just now and there was a confirmation for FF2 and Liberty or Death! For some reason the confirmation didn't load during checkout so i assumed i lost the games when i tried refreshing and it showed an empty cart. awesome! that just brightened my day. :whistle2:D

I had that happen once as well. The confirmation failed but the order went through.

Even though its not rare anymore, I have never seen Rhasody in a morning update. Its still available right now and its 3pm. Oh, how the mighty have fallen.

fuck......... my copy of Shadow of the Colossus came in warped....... it doesn't work.......... fuck .......... gotta return it at EB......hopefully they have PO copies of it in stock
Anybody up yet, or is noone expecting an update on Veteran's Day?
I didn't get up cuz I never went to sleep. Really hope there's an update tonight

You're not the only one who didn't go to sleep. I'll be glad when class is over today so I can try and get my sleep schedule back to normal.

haha "tonight".. crazy west coasters. i hope there's an update too.

Sucks that it's in doubt... I can't wait around all morning. I'll go ahead and do everyone else a favor by forcing them to update as I take a shower, so enjoy ;) If there's no update by the tiem I get back, I think I can pretend it won't happen.

For all you people not getting sleep, at least you haven't had to work 12 hour days for the past week (or at least I empathize if you have). And my weekend doesn't start till Sunday. Ugh.

Bingo. Nothing helps a morning where you have a listening exam at 8 AM than an EBGames update at 7. It just eases the pain, really.

God, don't I love learning several different languages, forms, and composers at 3 AM...
really weak update
Poor you, boo hoo ;)

If FireFox didn't suck ass (when am I going ot stop using it for the morning update?) I would have had Secret of Evermore. Good SNES update with FF2, FF3, SoE, ActRaiser 2 (which I'm passing on).

Yeah, 5 RPGs for Super Nintendo is the most I have seen in a while... didn't see anything good in the PS1 RPG section though, and since I already have SoE, FF2 and FF3... didn't like the update too much.

Haha... anyone want Dragon Warrior 4 for 39.99 b/c?

Yeah, so that was pretty much the best SNES update ever. And, as usual, I get in on none of it.

Does Firefox tend to load the pages slower, or what? I'm using it too.

It likes to argue with EB a lot... the first time I got SoE in my cart, it decided that it was gonna take two minutes to add CAG15. So then I re-added it, and it worked, but of course by the time I hit Checkout, it was gone.

I use Firefox pretty much exclusively, and I haven't had slow-loading problems (crashing-right-before-the-update-and-screwing-me problems yes, but slow-loading, no.) I have, in the passed, managed to grab some highly competitive titles.

Nothing for me. Almost jumped on Secret of Mana, but it turns out I'm too cheap.
You can get DW4 with everything for $45 on half.com.
Oh shoot, thanks for pointing that out. Hmm, should I cancel...medical bills or video games, medical bills or video games...tough decision.

firefox totally screwed me over during one great update so i never used it again for update purposes. it's all about IE for me when it comes to updates.
