Aaaaah! I See said the blind man. Thanks soo much for shedding some light on that for me. I threw the game in again tonight and did not choose the 'EO' option and it worked fine. What the hell does EO stand for anyway? Extremely Oversimplified? In EO mode, it maps a punch and kick to the triggers, and the face buttons are 'counter', 'rolling', and 'tactical' at least for Ken anyway. And the B button is not even mapped! lol

I used to wonder exactly what the EO was cos the Xbox and Cube verisions had it and my PS2 version didn't. Now I know that I was missing absolutely nothing, lol.

Now Im glad i got this disc. Some of the other demos are cool too, and a 96% complete version of CVS2 for a couple bucks cant be beat. Plus its even the japanese version of the game! =D
No, I had the same problem when I loaded up the game as well. If I recall correctly, it depends upon the choices you make right before you start the game. I think you can choose between EO and some other option and those seem to be important since they determine the button layout. One will be very funky (and overly simplistic since the D-Pad movement will determine supers and specials) and the other will be the typical button mapping.

I've only experimented with the "demo" for a little bit though so I could be off, but I think one of the modes is just meant to be simple while the other one is supposed to be standard (or the way you set it up in Options). A bit disconcerting, to say the least.

Holy Updates Batman! I may have to pull the trigger on Street Fighter Collection for PS1
I, too, would order it if it guaranteed instructions and original packaging.

Does SF Collection 2 ever come in stock? I haven't seen it in stock on EBGames.com ever! I know StealthySeal (Jaket) got in on it a few months ago, though.

Grandia is still in stock.

It stands for Extreme Offense
Thanks for posting this! I've had a case and manual for this game for years that I got free from an EB that didn't realize they sold the game to someone else. Now even if it's disc only, I can complete it :)
Of course, glad I could help you out!

Yay! My order of Ape Escape and Fear Effect pre-played both for PS1 shipped earlier today! It shipped from Pennsylvania, and I'm in Michigan so it should take only 2 or 3 days. That reminds me, if the games have already shipped, can they be delivered on a Saturday? Or will they just sit at wherever they are once Saturday hits? I hope they can be delivered on Saturdays, cause that'd mean I'd be basically guaranteed to get it Saturday. :D

I'm just a little stymied that Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis for Xbox sold out used for $29.99 when it was $19.99 several weeks back. :? It's still $19.99 on Gamestop's site, too. Is it that rare?

Lots of new N64 games are in stock - including all three Mario Parties.

Depends largely on what exactly you order. If it's all PS1 games, then it'll most likely be shipped USPS, and is basically regular mail. So you'd get it on Saturday. If there's a non-game item, or a game on a cartridge, the odds are good that they'll ship it UPS or FedEx, so no weekend delivery.

Not very often, ive been looking for it for myself but its really only because im a completest. It doesnt offer anything that wasnt available before like the first one did with alpha 2 gold.

i'll ask again, will SMT: Nocturne come with the soundtrack? are there two versions of Nocturne or just one with a soundtrack, and one without?
are there two versions of Nocturne or just one with a soundtrack, and one without?
Uhh, did you just ask the same question twice?

The LE contains the soundtrack, the normal version does not.

wondering if the LE just had a soundtrack slapped on to the regular version a la Baten Kaitos, or if it was an LE in the vein of Jade Empire, MK: Deception, Halo 2, etc with special packaging and all.
Sweet action, got MM for $7.89 shipped :) Thanks!
Quite welcome. Wondering if I should get around to buying those for N64 or just go with the OoT/MQ and Zelda Collector's Disc on GC...

Never seen this, not that I really want to:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/229740.asp
9.99 b/c
6 left

This worth picking it up? Still see it in stores, but for $6 a/c...
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/235044.asp
7.99 b/c

$2 drop, but still too expensive for a game you can get for $20 new:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/235345.asp
24.99 b/c

Tempting, but too expensive for now:
http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/244025.asp
29.99 b/c
5 left

http://www.ebgames.com/ebx/product/231992.asp
9.99 b/c
2 left

And that's it for my GC update for the day.

i did get a copy of Champions: return to arms.. my friend got it yesterday and i got addicted to it.. was looking for a new "dark alliance" type game anyways.. i recommend especially with free online play.

Thats a great game, the wife and I played the hell out of it when it first came out. Just remember while your playing that theres a huge glitch in the game where no health or mana bonuses apply at all. So when you find armor or weapons, or gems or stones with Health & Mano bonuses, they wont add anything to your base health and mana. If you can get over that huge glitch, the rest of the game is great.

I'm pretty sure that only applies to certain characters (like the warrior)

I played a mage and the mana bonuses worked just fine. At least the regenerative ones. Not sure about total.
I think this has been asked before but ill ask anyways. How do you know how many are left in stock?
Its asked every day actually ;) but no worries .. just add an item to your cart and then change the item quantity to some high number (100 is good) and then hit update quantities. It'll then show how many available items remain of that product.
I think this has been asked before but ill ask anyways. How do you know how many are left in stock?
try buying 100 copies or more of a game... and it'll tell u how many is left...
edited for redundancy: "I eat pieces of shit like you for breakfast."
You eat pieces of shit for breakfast?

I couldn't resist.

Edit:
Winner: Botticus
Non-Winner: Maklershed
Haha, the best was when I was able to get them to apply a voucher to a gift certificate. Good times. Had to do it over the phone, but at least then it was essentially stackable.
How'd you do that? They don't notice it's reservation rewards?
How'd you do that? They don't notice it's reservation rewards?
Ha... I have no idea. I tried to ask them over email, and they couldn't understand why it wouldn't work (I did, but I was playing along). So they told me to call in, which I did. First person I talked to was like "Oh, just place the order, then call in an hour later and have them apply the voucher." So I did, and initially tried to use all four of them for a $40 gift card, but after much deliberation, the CSR told me I could only use one, as the rewards were supposed to be one per household (oops). Needless to say, I don't even think they used one of my vouchers. I had them use one of three, and later I used two or three of those before they cut me off. And they didn't charge my credit card. So anyway you look at it, it was $10 for free.

i'm thinking about finally picking up FF Anthology and FF Chronicles. They're in stock tonight, are they usually in stock?

Is it worth the extra few dollars to get a new copy?
