At my local Eckerd (in Medford, NY), they had alll their DVDs for 75% off). They had stuff including Spiderman 2 SE, LotR: RotK, TTT and Harry Potter: Prisoner of Asbakan (sp?). This may not be YMMV because a FW memeber said the deal was also going on at an Eckerd in Valdosta, GA.

I heard there also may be copies of The Incredibles and Finding Nemo at other Eckerds, so this is SUPER MEGA HYPER DUPER ULTRA HOT

Could you tell us which DVDs? Very recent releases were not part of the sale.
 
On my dinner break, I decided to check out another local Eckerd's and got these...

Aladdin 2-disc SE - $6.24
The Wedding Singer - $3.24
The Whole Nine Yards - $3.24
The Notebook - $2.49 (this one title was 90% off while the rest were 75% off)
Cannonball Run - $1.99

Now that was a truly great deal. I applaud you on that one. Disney puts out some quality 2-disc sets.
 
I also manage a CVS and we're not marking them down, we've got a couple $9.99 DVDs after Extra Bucks and an employee discount you can get them cheap :)
 
Is this still going on?

There's a CVS and a Brooks within 1000 feet of each other. I didn't know they were affiliated.

I believe it is still going on at Eckerds that still have the clearanced dvds in stock, but it will be slim pickings. I saw a couple on Saturday, but nothing worth getting, even at 75% off.
 
Well I finally stopped by Eckerd's again, I should have went back the day I found this post. My Eckerd's was pretty cleaned out. I did manage to pick up Cannonball Run for $1.99, Night Shift for $1.99, and Easy Money for $2.49. At least Cannonball Run was a good buy. Couldn't resist the price of the other two movies. Now it's time to find another Eckerd's that still has some movies.
 
i have an eckerd around the block from me...i wouldnt really expect the ppl in my area to be buying/browsing dvds there so hopefully i can get some nice stuff early tmrw
 
i went to mine to today and all they was just Terminator 3 for $2.49. The clearance was up to 90%. Wish I had looked here earlier, could have gotten some good DVD's.

Surprised yours had anything AT all. That's not bad. The only thing my 3 stores had was Escape from New York and I got it for $2.50...still haven't opened it...lol
 
Found Hardhitter Tennis for PS2, was tagged $19.99 with a 75% off sticker but rung up at $1.97 (90% off). The cashier was shocked, that Eckered even sold games. I also saw Atari Anniversary or something like that for the PC tagged at $7.99 so it would have been $0.80(it was the same game EB had for $0.99 a few months ago).
