Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Recalled? ESRB rating changes from T to M

And in a similar vein, if dvds can get away with unrated editions, why shouldn't games?[/QUOTE]
Because no retailer is going to sell games without an ESRB rating.

i havent read any posts here, but I really think the ESRB needs to start changing a few things around. They need to be flexible in terms of modders, much like they put games with online play "gameplay expereince may change when online" they should put a notice that states that modified versions are out of ESRB control or something in that vein... if not, alot of Barbie games may jump from E to M...

I tried to buy a copy of the game at Best Buy yesterday, rated T.

Employee #1: That's weird, the computer's prompting me to check your ID.
Jack: But it's a Teen game.
Employee #1: You're right.
(Supervisor comes over and doesn't know what to do)
Employee #2: Oh that's Oblivion! You won't have a life after you buy this game. Oh yeah, they changed the rating on this game.
Supervisor person: Up to M, or down to T?
Employee #2: Up to M

I'm 16.
