Even though I probably won't be listening since I will be heading to Jersey tomorrow and probably won't be able to hear it, I would love to get mentioned on the jungle tomorrow. They were talking about E3 and the women having to cover up and I sent an e-mail telling them why and attached the picture of the guy fucking his cat (because that is the same guy who groped the women at E3)

and anyone know any good deals on DS games? I got metroid prime hunters today for 20 (going to trade after I finish it, hopefully for RE), but would like to get something else. I saw both pac-man games and dig-dug for 10 a piece at Best Buy, but was looking for something a little deeper
Ahh, what a great day huh guys?

Hmm, guess I'm the only happy person around here today...

As I sit here watching the final episodes of That 70's Show I can't help but be reminded of the end of Old Yellar.

I mean you feel bad for how pathetic it has become but you just know it has to be put down.
Are Wii excited yet?
Every time I hear the word "we" in TV shows and commercials, the Wii logo pops in my head.

fuck YOU, NINTENDO!

Where the hell have you been?!?

This morning was another TRU.com Super Clearance. Still available...

Tiger Woods 2005 - $7.49

True Swing Golf - $8.75

Trace Memory - $18

PoP Battles - $15

Frogger: Chhaos Helmet - $15
(It actually got decent reviews.)

Madden 06 - $22

RE DS - $20

And there's more I'm not listing.

I didn't really pay attention to the TRU deals, because of the shipping costs and the time it is going to take to ship the games. I was looking for something I could pick up before I left, but that time has passed. I may try and nab something tomorrow morning though

Wow, I just realized that if someone looked at my recent game purchases they might actually think I'm a Nintendo fan again. The last 3 games I've bought were Link to the Past, Metroid Prime Hunters, and Star Fox Assault (the first Gamecube game I've bought in about a year). Now if that damn DS Lite would come out soon so that I can play 2 out of the 3 games I've bought.

I really want to watch some of those CSI DVDs about now... only three days to wait. :D

However, I want to play some NSMB even more. IT can't come faster enough.

And neither can the end of school. That's so close as well.
I got to play some Wii games today. :D
you motherfucker ahahaha.

Did it make your pants tighten?? I MUST KNOW!! :hot:

No, but the booth girls did. ;) The voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, etc was on these elaborate screens talking to those of us in line. The 5-6 hour long line sucked though.

oh god, that sounds like being stuck on the Small World ride at Disneyland.

of course, the end result for you was a million times better.

Edit: can anyone tell me if my sig makes grammatical sense? I rewrote it from the wiki definition, which sounded strange to me:

The Rashomon effect is the effect of the subjectivity of perception on recollection, by which observers of an event are able to produce substantially different but equally plausible accounts of it.

The wiki definition you quoted should replace that second "effect" with "result."

So it's sort of like the truth is subjective kind of thing?

Haven't you seen Rashomon?
Haven't you seen Rashomon?
Nope. Never even heard of it until today. Is it legendary?
Nope. Never even heard of it until today. Is it legendary?
Yeah, pretty much. As far as I know it invented the "same story told from multiple viewpoints" story device.

We played Legend of Zelda, Elebits, Madden 07, Excite Truck (Not a new franchise), Tennis, Golf, and some minigames. They had living room setups for people to play some of the Wii games, which was cool. Oh yeah, every half hour or so, they played and sang "Wii Will Rock You."
Nope. Never even heard of it until today. Is it legendary?
That worries me that you've never heard of Rashomon. It's one of Kurosawa's greatest films. Next thing you won't have heard of Seven Samurai ;). But yeah, if you ever heard of Boomtown, the first season of that used the same concept of Rashomon, telling the same story from different perspectives.

I know what Seven Samurai is. That AWESOME game on PS2 based on that anime Samurai 7 right? ;)

I just got some pics developed of my dog.

BobLobLaw.gif

His name is Bob and we have many names for him. Mostly four letters though. Current favorites are Bob Loblaw and Bobnoxious.
Listening to Dire, Dire Docks from the Mario 64 OST is immensly soothing.
Where'd you get it? :D
Where'd you get it? :D
I own the CD.

Man, I remember when Nintendo Power had their mail-order store when I was younger. Now that I think about it, the amount of stuff you could get from them was amazing, and I wish I had been smart enough to load up. I think they had FF3 and SoM OSTs on there.

...I know I bought a Super Metroid guide off it. And some....*cough* pogs I think....

Oh yeah, I saw Kojima today walking in the halls. He disappeared amongst these suits and was never to be seen again. I got a video of it, so I'll see about posting it. He's there for 3 seconds and he's gone.

Tool was incredible (more details in the 10,000 Days thread). Unfortunately, I'm going to need to replace a passenger side window and (eventually) my mp3 player. Somehow though, I just didn't care about that. These things happen.

Now to see if I can possibly sleep with all the ringing in my ears.

Anybody know how you can do a batch upload onto IGN game collection like you could before? Or to at least show more than just 5 items per page? I haven't updated my list in forever and i really want to now.
who she and anyone have an answer?
She's Nintendo's vice president of marketing and corporate affairs.

And I'm sorry I can't help with your question. IGN really screwed their Collections thing up, and I wouldn't be suprised if you can't do the batch additions anymore.

Thats what I never got about Rock concerts. People can get totally out of fucking control and break shit, in your case your car window and MP3 player. And they really don't give a fuck about it.

I am assuming that is what happened in your case sbly?

They did. A former friend got the FF3 (FF6) soundtrack from there... I wanted to, but I could never muster enough of their dollars and I was a poor little lass. Kinda wish I'd scrounged enough together for it now.

Come to think of it, I think I had a ton of those damn stamps and I never used them.

Haha, me too. I kept thinking I would make out like a bandit one day with them, and then never used them.

Probably still have them sitting around somewhere...

And that Cosby ytmnd is fucking awesome.
