I have no idea what my first legal purchase was. If I had to guess, it was probably Canadian Club whiskey or Smirnoff vodka. Either that or some shitty case of beer.
 
There's a fucking sparrow fight going on on my trampoline right now. There are two on the bouncy part chasing each other and making noise, and about a dozen standing on the sides watching. My cats are going nuts in the window, doing that "clicking" thing.

I want to work in the yard, but it looks like its about to rain. Plus, I'd hate to disturb the thunderdome thing going on...

Pretty much. But I'm already stocked on scotch (got a bottle of Black Label and a bottle of Chivas Regal), so I didn't really have a need.

I wish it were just two, because a couple joined the ruckus. I'm looking out, and I've counted over 30 other sparrows in the yard, on the wires, etc. - and they all seem pretty agitated.

Last year, I had the apple tree cut down in the back, and right now, I kinda miss it. We'd get cardinals and blue jays that'd try to nest in it, and they'd kick all the sparrows' asses before turning on each other.

And now, I have had a disturbing thought. My mom used to watch all that animals out in the backyard; she enjoyed the squirrels the most. I used to just shake my head when she'd point out "Big Boss" and "Lefty" chasing "Little Man" (who was a rascal and liked to bug the others as well as the neighbor's dogs).

Becoming your parents really sucks, by the way...and it is worse when you catch yourself doing it.

I went to buy beer last night at Farm Fresh. They had a display of Natty Light, 12 pack for $7 and there was some young guy there cleaning it out. He grabbed like the last 5 or so. :roll:

I hear ya. What really pisses me off though is not being able to get beer in grocery stores. It's so ridiculous.

My most recent purchase was two 6-packs of Red Stripe.

I also did a beer bong last night and was shotgunnin' the weekend before.
