not sure if this was posted but hey

i stopped in my local gamestop dickson city,pa and noticed this. i will be getting a ps3 soon so i might bite just a heads up as i am not sure if this is old news

i heard this game was a dog turd maybe thats why it is so low as for the 360 not sure. i give u local gs a call and see how much it is new i did not notice anything 360 sorry
 
Really not worth the purchase at all.It's one of those system launch RPGs that really doesn't do much for the genre at all and is missing the charm that some others had to make it worth the play through.
 
wow...nobody posted that this is old news yet...shocking...but it is a few weeks old already and i believe an universal drop everywhere
 
Its been abused many times at Game Rush stores, thats for sure, lol.

Also shocked to see this drop faster then the 360 version.

I've been playing this game on the 360 (bought it used). If you like Japanese RPGs, it's certainly worth $20. The writing is a bit weak, and I get frustrated by some of the boss battles, but it's fairly entertaining, and the combat system is somewhat novel. (It takes time to learn, though, and that frustrated many of the folks who played it.)

All IMO.
 
Should be $20 everywhere by now.

My opinion on the game is that it's above average. The battle system is interesting and fun for the most part. The story is good enough. My main complaint is the voice acting. It is possibly the worst voice acting in any game I've ever played, and I have played Shenmue. So if you play this, for the love of God change the voices to Japanese or mute the TV. It makes the game that much more enjoyable.

Agreed on all comments. It makes the voice acting in House of the Dead Oscar worthy.
 
As a few others have said, most people think it's average or above average, and reviews have been solid, saying the same thing.

Best Buy has it for $20 too, though it does not appear to be universal, as you can find it for $50 easily too.

I'm tempted, but yeah, it feels sort of like one of those early games you're buying just so you can have another PS3 game :)
 
Very good JRPG. If you like JPRG, you will like this. Not sure how PS3's achievements work, so if you have a 360, you might as well play it on 360 for the easy 1000 achievement points. Oh yah, I got one FT :)
 
I keep waiting for the 360 version to hit $20. I'd give it a shot. I could get the PS3 version but everything I've read says that it's an inferior port. Besides, I wouldn't mind getting some achievements.

The reviews don't say that. They usually say there's some added stuff. (Though of course it doesn't take full advantage of the next-gen systems.)
