The current line from Square is "no plans" for a PS3 release.

Indeed.

I recall reading somewhere that SO has declined in popularity in Japan, which might hurt its chances of being ported. But who knows, in the end, its a simple matter of x and y, X being the cost of a port, Y the expected revenue thereof. All that matters is which is greater.

It's nice that I can just buy all of Capcom's games on the PC now. Their stuff kicks ass, and it's super sharp and liquid smooth on that Vista.

Though I think we can just make a separate thread about this, since it's basically got... nothing to do with FFXIII.
