Well yeah, it's not worth it. My dad's car isnt worth it either.

And yeah, yakuza is much more likely. Plus the pewter dragon add to that. >:3

If a cop thinks I'm a gangster I can always pull the mincing, lisping fag routine on him too.

Oh, snap, you didn't.
There's no public transportation in Michigan?
For all practical purposes, there isn't in Metro Detroit. In Detroit, there's a bus system (the drivers had a sit-out a few weeks ago because of unsafe working conditions, and most of the city seemed to agree), the People Mover (the less said about that junk heap the better), and...that's about it, really. Outside of the city, there isn't anything reliable or widespread.

Some parts of the state are better off, though. Between UofM and the city bus system, Ann Arbor has amazing public transportation, especially since being a student means you don't have to pay for any of it. :D

I thought you were shooting for cafeteria girl at this point?

Either way, that sucks. Why'd she get fired?

Yeah, I like 'cafeteria girl' a lot more.
I just liked looking at 'new girl'. I never wanted anything really.
She was one of the most attractive girls I've ever seen in my life.
Stunning.

I'm not sure why she was fired. Yes she was on the phone a lot, but only because she did all her work. It does suck.
There's a lot of sudden firings around here. We just stay quiet and put our heads down.

Mowing the lawn doesn't really suck as much as it used to. I remember when it took me 90 minutes, now it takes me 45.

Also, I seem to be typing faster now that I mowed. Weird.

Sudden firings plus you've complained about being bored with little work to do (at least I think that's you.) Polish up your resume man.

Did you cut every corner?

If there's a task that must be done,
Don't turn your tail and run,
Don't pout, don't sob,
Just do a half-assed job.

If you cut every corner,
It is really not so bad.
Everybody does it,
Even mom and dad.
If nobody sees it,
Then nobody gets mad.

I wonder if I unlocked any Achievements.

I did cut every corner, but not in the half-assed fashion.

Yeah, I've already planned for that.
They seem to like me at least.

I'll be ready.
Today I have done literally nothing.
Not a single ounce of work. I've been online shopping all day.
I'm just not seen and get lost amongst the shuffle.

Could've been numerous reasons, including too much time on the phone for personal calls, surfing pron, and who knows what else.

I guess you'll have to concentrate all your time on "cafeteria girl".

If you cut every corner you'll have more time to play. It's the American way!

Speaking of playing, I may go play some more of Luigi's Mansion. I've got to figure out how to beat the fat ghost who belches fire now. :whistle2:k

I'm pretty sure it's the phone thing. And possible lying about why she came in late one day.

Speaking of, I'm off to lunch.

Why do they keep withholding Die Hard 4's rating? What are they gaining by not revealing it?

They probably are still working with the MPAA to get a PG-13 rating. Thus, because the rating isn't final, and they are still making cuts, they cannot advertise a rating.

Finished Puzzle Quest (DS) over the weekend. Doing pretty much every side quest and creating a few items plus training up a few mounts, but skipping most of the 'random' battles (they aren't really random if you aren't familiar with the game) maxed out my level a few battles before the finale. Pretty well paced.

Went through as a wizard and once I leared a certain spell from a mount
Breath Fire
things were pretty easy. Although they weren't terribly difficult before that really, but that spell can really help you mow down enemies quickly. Game is damn fun and since each battle takes a few minutes you can make a bit of progress no matter how little time you have for it at any given moment.

I might play through as a Warrior since that seems to be the most different from Wizard but I think I'm more inclined to just sell the thing and move on to something fresh. I could try going through as a Warrior and doing just the main storyline quests (so no level building from side quests) and see how far I can get before it gets too difficult...

I kinda want to leave early, but I can't because I just have too much shit to do.

Oh well.

I just want to get home and set the mouse trap.

If it was pron, dallow really missed his chance. Good ice-breaker too.

"I see you like to surf for pr0n. Me too. You know, I do have a video camera back at my place and we get off of work in 15 minutes."

Anybody see id's announcement of their new engine? It looks like nothing they've ever done before.

2nd and 3rd one look NICE.

fuck YOU RAINBOW SIX, I fuckING HATE YOU NOW.

So, full disclosure, I never played through Resident Evil 2 until yesterday. I finished the game rather quickly (in hindsight, it's a ridiculously easy game), but now I have the option of playing the Claire "B Secario 2," or something similar.

If I play Leon A/Claire B Scenario 2, is that a different game from Claire A/Leon Scenario 2, or are they slight variations on the same stuff? In other words, if I finish Leon and Claire's stories once, is there really any incentive to play through in the opposite order, or are the differences really minimal?

The game is almost completely different, and the differences are pretty huge, IIRC - you're basacially doing everything the other person didn't.

Totally worth it to play through it again - it's even got a new enemy to fight, but I won't spoil it for you.

It's like, at this point, you only played through 70% of the game.

Or did you mean you already finished both stories (Leon and Claire's), and now you've got the option to do both stories again? Or you just beat Leon's side only, and now have the option to do Claire's?

Edit cause I suck:
The main addition to the gameplay is a two-scenario system. As in the original Resident Evil, the game offers two playable characters, each with their own scenario. However, after finishing one character's scenario (referred as the "A" game) and saving the data, a second scenario (the "B" game) is unlocked in which the same series of events are depicted from the other character's perspective. Actions taken by the player during the first scenario affects the player's surroundings during the second scenario. In addition, one character also has access to one area in their B game that they normally would not have access to. There are four scenarios, with two for each character.

Similarly to the original game, the player is awarded with unlockable weapons and other bonuses after completing a scenario under certain requirements. A ranking system has been implemented in which the player is graded based not only on the amount of time taken to complete the game, but also on the number of times the game was saved and the number of first-aid sprays used. Several hidden minigames can also be unlocked as well, the "The 4th Survivor", its spoof/harder version "The Tofu Survivor" and in some versions, a minigame called "Extreme Battle".

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like it's just gonna be "Claire B" and then onto Nemesis.

I gots to play them in order before playing RE4.

The second scenario also has
Mr. X, which is the precursor to Nemesis, and is a royal pain in the ass at all times
.
