I saw Nurse Betty when it was out in theaters, and not since.
GF issues?
Bingo.

Complicated by the fact that she's my best friend as well.
guessing form the things you usually talk about and as much free time as you have had lately, I'm guessing lady problems.
Enough free time to be on my 88th episode of South Park this week.

same thing with my brother. Him and his GF I guess kind of broke up about a week or so ago, but she still comes over and hangs out, but they don't sit by each other or nothing. Then tonight was the prom and they went together, but neither really seemed like they wanted to go. But it was already paid for so they went anyways. Now my brother just got home about 20 minutes ago, alone.

Not that my opinion matters, but if she is actually your best friend, than it is worth trying to work out.

Also, realize that "best friend" and "only/best person who relates to me" aren't necessarily the best thing. Just because someone relates to you better than anyone else you've met thus far doesn't mean they are a good friend. Someone who is on the complete opposite end of the spectrum than you could be a better friend than someone who is close.

I find that people who can be objective are often better friends than those who simply appease you to make you happy..

nah neither are really the popular type. At least I know my brother ain't. And I am pretty sure she ain't either.

But to keep things going basketball wise. "I wonder if she needs someone to catch her on the rebound?"

Anyone willing to blow the entire basketball team will be quite popular with at least half the class. ;)

I don't mean to upset you, but to hell with the friendship. If you(as a relationship) are falling apart, the likelyhood of you being friends still is slim, although it's still there. I know you still care for her and all but the most important thing is that YOU are happy, not her. I know it sounds selfish, but when it comes down to it, there are literally BILLIONS over other people in the world and although this one may seem like the only one at the moment, odds are she's not. Focus on what is best for you and go from there.[/wisebeyondhisyears]

Which is 89? Also, have you tried marijuana ?

Seriously though, I know the friends first deal(Ok, I'll go into detail).
So I hung out with this guy(Jeremey) for a while that I met when I started going to TCC. After a while he got me a job at the resturaunt he worked at(Silver Diner) and together we started hanging out with one of the ast. managers there. The three of us hung out for a while and got to be pretty good friends. Once we started hanging out outside of work, shit got complicated. We always hung out at the ast. managers(Alex) apartment because it was close to the beach and it was summer time. After a few weeks, I fell under with Alex's sister, even though we started out as friends. Shit got more complicated than I could've ever imagined with Alex's and Jeremey's love triangle becoming intertwined with our relationship(forming a love trapezoid?). After a while, I figured it would just be easier to end it. It just so happened that Alex and his sister(my g/f) moved away, which made things easier, but still left me with Jeremey, which left things between me and him wierd. I pretty much just stopped talking to all of them, but I'm doing ok because I realized that although I was happier with her, she's not the only person in the world who can make me feel so.

PS - I'm listening to Radiohead. Thanks a lot, asshole. ;)

It's too fucking windy.

Thanks,. The story actually gets considerably more intricate than that, but you know.

Radiohead is pretty good, but I wouldn't rank them at the top of my list. Probably top 15, at the least. If you like The Cure, you should check out Tim Armstong's(From Rancid) solo album w/The Aggrolites as the house band.

Soodmeg - Yeah, listen to the guy who is having relationship troubles.

Subby - You broke my Caps Lock Key.(I've been missing a couple keys since I spilled water(Read:My Bong) on my potpal on Christmas Eve and haven't been able to get a few keys back in. The Caps key just popped out and won't go back in .) I think it gives my laptop character.

Edit for additions and typos.

That's what they are there for. Pixie's a hitter when she's asleep though, so I have to spoon to cop a feel.

We just got home from a club called Boogie Fever, which is a 70's/80's type place. Not bad, but packed. Pixie called it the place where divorced women go to find older divorced men. A female friend from work chose the place, and was there with two of her friends and another work buddy that I hang with. Everytime they line something up, I have to cancel last minute, so even though Pixie wasn't feeling well, she wanted me to go to save face.

We were only there about 45 minutes before Pixie just felt too ill to stay longer.

Not exactly my type of scene, but it was really nice to see some of my friends I never get to see much anymore.
I know it sounds terrible, and I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I'm good at driving under the influence. Hell, I'm good at anything while under the influence. I keep my sense of reason, I have never blacked out, and I (most of the time) can still pass whatever sobriety test you throw at me. Not to mention doubt is what drags you down in the end. Don't hate me for it, subby, embrace it (Ok, it's not quite that benevolent, but you catch my drift).

Sub I will tell you something an old man once told me, and its the best advice I've ever heard.

Many women will come and go. They will always go no matter what.

There might be one worth marrying but soon after she's not. People will always change once they get in a relationship. You'll spend your life watching women coming, and going. So get used to it, and enjoy them while you have them. Once they're gone then move on to the next.

Sub you ever think that her being your best friend that she just thought of you as a fuck buddy. And you thought more of her then that.

Not sure when the new album is supposed to come out, I just know they've been in the studio.

I think I'll go to sleep when this episode is over.

EDIT: That may be true, Graystone, but I can't live like that. How can you ever care about someone if you're just expecting them to leave anyway?

Kid A might be my favorite Radiohead album. Ever seen them live? They are .

Also, subby, glad to see you liked No Control. I assume you dloaded that based off my recommendation?

Also, good call on Disintegration and Pretty Hate Machine. Disintegration is an amazing album.

Yeah, I also downloaded Suffer and Against the Grain.

I listened to Disintegration just today. Actually, that's why I started watching South Park ... I wanted to watch the episode with Robert Smith. It just happened to be in the first season, and I haven't stopped watching.

Awesome, those are also great albums. You might wanna check out Greg Graffin's solo album Cold as the Clay. It's nothing like Bad Religion at all, but you can tell how folk-influenced BR actually is.

That is a great episode. It's so ridiculous. It's also really impressive considering that it's a first season episode.

You love your family? you care about them? They're going to die in time (i.e leave) but you can still care for them while they are here.

You can care about someone but once they go they go. Stop wasting time worrying

I'm not saying be a dick to that person when you see them again. But they're gone so move on brother.

Look at it like a car. You have a car for a few years then it breaks down beyond repair. Well you sell it for $500. Then you get a new one. While riding around in the new one, you don't sit and think man I hope that old car is happy and doing well in the junkyard. You enjoy what you have for that time. The next one is going to go.

Mecha Streisand?

Godfather is a pretty fun game, although I've only played for 20 minutes. XD

And I'm sorry, Graystone, but relationships between you and your car and relationships between you and another person just can't be compared.
Kid A might be my favorite Radiohead album. Ever seen them live? They are .

I remember me and a couple of band kids played The National Anthem and felt like the coolest people ever (I played bari sax). I'd love to see them live but the fact that the tickets always sell out in < 1 minute it makes it quite the feat to actually obtain them.

I'm not saying it makes me better at driving, nor does it do so in any field(aside from my ability to tell the truth :whistle2:x), I just think that I am capable enough to drive home and/or know when I'm not capable of doing so. I guess the only way you will prove me wrong is when I get caught :p.

It is a proven fact that alcohol affects your motor skills(durp), but alcohol has a different effect on everyone which means that just because you can't walk a straight line after drinking 6 beers doesn't mean that I won't be able to do so, even if you are a larger person than me/older than me/blah blah blah. The only way we will know is if I keep drinking and driving and, either way, someone will be wrong. Would you like that Graystone? Would ya? Didn't think so...

Listen here.

Off to bed. See you fellas in the afternoon .

I'm not out to prove you wrong. I'm just saying that it doesn't make you better. I've drunk drove one or twice myself. luckily though their wasn't any cars out on the streets. It was like 3am on a Tuesday. Luck is all you have when you drink and drive. I remeber once I was with my cousin and some womens called us to come over. So me being the bigger guy with the higher tolerance drove. We were playing music really loud. And I had just came off the freeway. I was doing 100 in a 25. With no seat belts. The point is it all comes down to luck when driving drunk. I"m not proud of it, but women called us, women that put out. I had to drive. :D

I wasn't saying I was right. I know drinking + driving = bad, atleast I can still type cohearently, even if I can't spell(That's normal though ). Just because it is a night that statistically has less people on the road though doesn't mean that you won't have an accident involving someone else though(And don't pull my "I didn't say so and so..." exuse, that's mine). All I'm trying to say is that you lose, and I win...for now.

Just because you are the larger person doesn't mean you have the higher tolerance. Also, just because you are drinking doesn't mean that you do 100 in a 25, that just means you have terrible judgement when drinking. Try thinking next time.

Of course it was poor judgment driving in a drunken state. Something I wouldn't do again. Actually I driven drunk twice. Once for women, and once for pancakes.
