I can't believe my luck! Last night I went to the Twins/Red Sox game :)lol: at that whiny bitch Ortiz...) with my friends so I had to skip watching the NASCAR race, turns out it got rain delayed until today so I'm not gonna end up missing it at all.

So basically, with the exception of Friday's date, my week continues to be absolutely AWESOME!

Me and some friends were drinking last night and decided to turn the race on. It got rained out and they cut straight to COPS. I thought that was pretty ironically hilarious.

That is kind of funny actually. I'd imagine the people who wanted to tune in to watch "My Best Friend's Wedding" today are going to be quite disappointed...

Oh and the best part about the COPS episode was the first one that they showed. They were searching some black dude and they asked him if he had any drugs. He hesitated and then said "Man...I got weed in my butt." and pulled a dime bag out his ass.

afternoon OTT.

My dad and the ac are killing me. It was 65 yesterday and dropped down into the 40's at night. But he still has the central air set to 68. Which means it pulls cold air from outside runs that cold air past freeon and makes it even colder.

Right now I feel like I slept outside in the winter. My nasal passages are all messed up.

I already spend too much time in the rest room as it is. On average I go about once every 45 minutes. I really don't need to use the bathroom that much but acts like a mini 5 minute break. My co workers probably think I have a bladder problem by now.

Its the "car of tomorrow" which is basically the new design that will be run for every race starting next season. They're running it at handful of races this year as a way to test the waters and figure out how it'll work next year.

I do that too. I had a boss tell me to get back to work once because I was just standing out back when he came out to smoke. I told him that he would have himself quite a lawsuit on his hands if I had to go back to work and he didn't simply because I don't smoke. I also brought up the fact that with all that money going into the lawsuit, they probably wouldn't have enough money to keep him on board.

Needless to say I got to finish my 5 minute break.

When I worked retail I would take extra breaks, and tell people I was on a smoke break.

At radioshack when one of the smoking employee's went outside, I went with them.

At walmart I just took two extra 5 min breaks.

I have nothing against smokers but they shouldn't get an extra break for a habit. They get a break for smoking should I get a extra one for eating? since I'm fat lunch just doesn't do it. I need another break for snacking :roll:

I'd forgotten how expensive tech books are. I'm trying to learn Ruby on Rails, bu all of the books I've found so far are $30 or more. I've got access to the O'Reilley ones online, so that's something, but I've always liked having something printed sitting next to me while I'm trying to figure out what's going on.

When you work at a place and the manager cool breaks aren't a big deal. But when your every move is dictated i.e walmart the extra breaks the smokers get pisses me off.

I remember at radioshack I would get bored sometimes. So I would take RC cars outside and drive them around. That was fun, and I was working cause I was enticing people to buy products.
