I can do it tomorrow if you want. Should be quick and easy achievements.

Ok so on saturday? Just send me a message if you see me on. Also where is the shooting range? Maybe we can start trading the hero dolls if we havent already.

Wow...a nice start. I never played the first one and I haven't been into action RPGs/adventure games since Wind Waker, but this one seems like something I can stick to. There were some crazy stuff they were hinting at from the start. The dog's absolutely adorable and functional.

I've yet to run into game-breaking glitches (*knocks on wood*), but I did see one graphical glitch. It's very early on in the game when
you return to the town after 10 years and that mysterious Gypsy woman tries to show you the Spire. Only the top half of it was showing for me in the distance and when zooming in with LT. The rest was covered by the blue sky texture.
I hope that's not just my Xbox, though I'm guessing that's normal? Just an oversight?

Gah! I can't wait for this game, so i just ordered the regular edition. I was trying to hold out until i could get some impressions of what the extra dungeon in the LE was like, but I want my dog dammit!

Rationalizing and telling myself that the Hall of the Dead probably isn't worth 20 bucks. (Amazon gift card deal.)

I don't think it's a big deal. It happens to me pretty often. It's just the game doesn't load something properly or is taking way too long. The game does load a lot of content all at once. The first time I start the game up everyday, it takes a long time to load half of the world even though I'm in it. Sometimes I'm walking on nothing.

Ugh, I haven't been able to buy furniture in Bowerstone for a few days now. For some reason the bitch won't sell anything other than a book. It's a known glitch and the other furniture store in Bloodstone isn't affected by it, but I really don't want to rush through the map just to buy furniture. :(

Has anyone got their LE download code from xbox.com yet? When I registered to get the code, the site said it would come within 10 days. That was two days ago...

ok, i'm mad as fuck!

i got two kids. the first kid i had before i went to the spire. he grew up (ugly as fuck) and he used to frolic around and shit. i then had another kid and she was a baby (and grew up to that young kid age quick!)

now, i moved my family to the homestead and the boy will just stand there near the house....not moving. the girl moves around. i want to just put an end to his life but my wife is always around...

Speaking of furniture, how do you buy furniture? I can't figure it out. I go to the furniture store, and it just gives me info. I can't get anything else.

Hi, all you have to do is ask for information and compare it with other home furniture. You can actually see the differences of each stuff. Or you can also search it via-internet to get the most recent update and the good quality furniture before you purchase.

Mad as fuck over that? Why does it matter either way?

You can't just sleep 7 days and wake up to her being restocked? I've never had the "known glitch", but if you buy all her stuff, or the economy sucks, you have to wait for more.

lol I don't know I'm going for a thin, pure, and good character my first run through. I haven't even touched any alcohol and if I eat anything that gives me any fat yup, celery for me! ^^

because it's a glitch in a game, that's why it matters!!!!

and why can't i copy my fable II file to my memory card???? i get an error each time i try, but, i can copy any other game under the sun...

I'm still waiting on my LE code too. I registered on Tuesday and still no sign of it. Hopefully it'll be here soon! I'll be pissed if I don't get it since I fucking paid for the LE and never got what I paid for! :bomb: Once I get my code I'll start playing Fable II again.

The co-op play is very underwhelming. There were at least three or four times that I wanted to throw my controller through the TV because of the camera.

shared camera + no analog control = fail
How much running do i have to do to trim the fat? :D
There's no other way to lose weight then to eat celery or foods that subtract fat. I was stuck at 9 fat for a long ass time until I figured out that running doesn't do shit.

Apparently villagers don't like it when you're forging steel into the wee hours of the morning. I had an angry mob as I decided to call it quits after about 15 minutes. At least I'm a level 4 blacksmith now.

Am I missing something or can you not get a full-screen, zoomed in map of towns? I spent about 5 minutes running around town looking for specific shops with no luck.

Haha, well it looks like it was another fib that Molyneux told. :cold:

Once you get past a certain point in the main quest, you are no longer able to copy your save to the memory unit. Since there are achievements for the 3 seperate endings, they didnt want people saving onto the MU right before the achievement so they could go back and get the other achievements without the leg-work.

I didn't have to do that, the achievement popped before a savepoint. Just reload to the dash and go back in and do it again. Took me like 15 minutes to get all 3 endings.

damn, that makes too much sense, because lord knows i'd try that!

thanks

*and yea, i wish i could see a zoomed map too....

if anyone still needs the doll collector achievement I've started up an exchange group where we give all the needed dolls to the next person and thus passing on the achievement. We still need the Theresa doll for this though.

I haven't gotten very far in Fable cuz all I do is goof around. But, I'm having a ton of fun with this game.

But, I still play the hell out of pub games. Anybody still spending time with that or have most just left it for Fable 2?

Tsk tsk. You can save right before you choose one of the three choices at the end. Choose one of the choices -> pause game -> dashboard -> reload save point again.

Just save right before you go into face Lucien. When you get the achievement turn off the xobx. Reload. Make sure you make the choice you want to keep last.

Yes I still play it a lot. I like Fortune Towers the most but when I'm playing in Fable II Spinnerbox has given me a lot of money, the one where you match up 3 spins with a bonus in the middle if all match. When I played in Pub games Spinnerbox would always be my least favorite because I would loose money.

I got to Lucien,
he killed my dog!

Now i'm a kid....don't tell me that was one of the endings!!!

No, but you are close to it. Make sure to save when you get back to Lucien.

My evil game is screwed up. I beat the Crucible in record time and got teleported out after opening the chest (and not getting anythinng, already got weapon). I can't move, but I can teleport to places. I think the save file is now garbage.

Instead of going to the dashboard, there is a option in the save menu to quit without saving. It will make this quicker.

I just finished the storyline a few hours ago. It was a decent story, better then Fable 2, but I said "That's it?" out loud. I don't know, I just expected more for some reason.

There's little doubt in my mind we'll see a downloadable Lost Chapter style expansion pack for Fable 2.

Well, I beat the game tonight. I loved it. I didn't think I would like it as much as I did, but I really really liked it. And dang, that dog added SO MUCH to the game I think. I loved having him around. I think without him I wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I did. This is a must buy I'd say.
^I agree the dog was great, easily one of the best parts of the game.
I decided to bring him back to life.
Me too. It was an easy choice for me. Funny thing, I didn't care about my wife or kid..but that darn dog, I just had to save him

last thing for now...went back to the crucible, defeated it in record time, went to open the chest and it sent be back outside...AND NOW I CAN'T MOVE!!!!!!!!

when i pause the game it says game paused. what kind of c-rap is this??? I mean shit, its a good thing i got all 3 endings!

Buuuut you can't bring up the menu during a cutscene. It just says scene paused or something and you only have the option of hitting A to continue. And if you hit start when the credits start rolling it'll skip the credits and auto-save then you have to play the whole game again for the other two cheevos. :D!

How about if you copy your save to a memory unit before hand? Does that work?

I almost would like it if it's impossible to cheat, because I want an excuse to play again.

I had the exact same issue yesterday. Hopefully allowing my character to sit for a day changes that.

I know that I'm behind on this and that there was a video floating around but I can't seem to find it.

How do you import your winnings from the Pub games as well as the online games from the Fable II site?

Go into Pub games or talk to the Game Master, merge your Pub games patron w/ your Fable 2 hero, Then go into Fable 2 (unless you're already there) and talk to the Game Master (again, unless you're already there), When you exit the conversation/menu, you'll have all your stuff and all your money. They'll pop up just like when you dig up an item or open a chest.

I've done this twice now and it happens very smoothly.
