Fanatical Thread

It's no worse than GameBillet, Itchio, Chronogg, Green Man, Kinguin, Direct2Drive, Gemly, Fireflower...
I've only bought from 2 of those (GMG and Kinguin) while I've bought many things from BS in the past. I haven't bought anything from GMG in quite some time. wtf is Gemly?

GMG lost most of my attention after they stopped giving away bunches of money through Playfire.

Fanatic sounds like something an edgy 13 year old comes up with for their online username. Bonus points for capitalizing or replacing random letters, or for omitting vowels.

In fact I'd be surprised if we didn't have one of these on CAG.

Humble has been bought by IGN, Groupees has imprisoned Motoki, IndieGala is selling dried pasta, and BundleStars has changed their name.

Where is a hero to save us? Why did you forsake us, Indie Royale?

Many companies were created with 1 single goal... to be acquired. IGN picked Humble and the rest of them feel hopeless now.

He's the hero Cag deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A spnaksy boy.

Well, I wanted them to do something about the lousy sort options on the bundles tab. And do something they did. They completely removed the ability to sort the bundles.

Good job guys. You actually managed to take a step back with your site design.

DON'T QUESTION THEIR FANATICAL DEVOTION TO FANATICAL SITE DESIGN!!! THEY'RE CRAY CRAY....DON'T MESS WITH THEM!!!!

Really want to bite on Wolfenstein: The New Order but I feel as though it's probably a better idea to wait until BF or until whenever Fanatical's two-pack bundle comes back.

Yeah if I wouldn't have bought Carmageddon in a previous Steam sale I would have bitten. I am just missing Serial Cleaner which I'm guessing will eventually be $1 tiered at Humble.

Tier 1 is repeat-heavy, but I do want From the Depths.  Actually, I kind of want two copies of From the Depths.

A couple of repeats in Tier 2, but the rest seems pretty strong.

Tier 3 is are both awfully tempting, but it's probably best to wait.  Both will be in more bundles.

Feel the need to urinate.

Probably because of two 16.9 fl. oz. bottles of Poland Spring Natural Spring Water I drank in the past hour + 15 mins..

An excellent CAG-member traded them to me since I missed the 36-pack sale last week.

AFK while I take a leak.

For that to be accurate you would have to never drink them after they were gifted to you even though you whined for months about how you wished you had them.

That's a +10 for me. And I actually want a couple of those games. A winning combination if ever I saw one.
Yeah, I bought it. Better value than the last bundle which I ended up skipping.. Couldn't justify paying $5 for 5 games I didn't own when at least half of them will be rebundled. This on the other hand is cheaper, has more +1s, and more games I'm interested in.

Wow, I remember playing MegaRace a few times way back in the 90s. I think it came as a free demo with an old Micron PC I had. For the life of me I'm struggling with the fact the graphics were that poor. I seem to remember them being a lot better and crispier. I'm starting to worry about my old video game recollection.

I think I might have to pick this bundle as well since I don't own any of them. Death Point looks pretty decent too.

Todays star deal with Homefront Revolution is tempting.  I think this is the cheapest the Freedom Fighter bundle has been and to hear syntax or fox talk about it you'd think it was the best game ever.

Was the same price during their black friday sale after voucher, but still the lowest I've seen it.

I wouldn't go that far but I thought it was an underrated game if you enjoy the Far Cry 3/4 "unlock the region" model and had a few interesting things such as the convertible weapon types. If you like the idea of wandering a wartime urban scene, shootin' dudes, unlocking radio towers and taking over forts then HF:R provides.

What about following (for hours) 2 people having a conversation?

Just FYI: free weekend on Steam for Homefront Revolution.  The steam page has information about the freedom fighter bundle but I am not seeing (and have not for a while) a way to buy the freedom fighter bundle/edition vs buying base game and season pass.  Cheapest right now is fanatical.  Considering base game price on sale on Steam right now is slightly more expensice - buy from fanatical.

The HF:R DLC is all pretty lame.  Three short linear missions.  If you're buying the complete version for a buck or two more then why not but it's not worth worrying about otherwise.

I played the first Homefront after finished Homefront: Revolution.  It's your pretty typical on rails FPS.  I mean it wasn't as horrible as people say, but it's certainly not good.  It's short though and I got a small sense of satisfaction at the end.
