Far Cry: Instincts Multiplayer

there's no ranks in this right? ranks brings in all the assholes...soo...yea...i hope this is a game WITHOUT ranks...for ranked games i'll go to halo 2 :p

Yes, I'm up for a game tonight, And why am I the only one not getting this intro video everyone is talking about. I saw it the first time, but when I started a single player game and it saved I haven't seen it since!
 
Yeah, I don't get the intro anymore after the Xbox Live update. Had problems getting that though the other day since it kept giving me a technical problem, so I had to sit through it everytime I popped it in.
 
The lag was terrible last night. And after every game it disconnected me from the game. I'll probally be back on tonight and hopefully we can have a game where you can actually kill people. But the graphics are beautiful and there's alot of weapons and vehicles, so this can definitely be a game I get into.

What mode were you playing? If, it's chaos then don't play more than 8-10 people. With predator you get no lag so do about 14. With Steal the Sample paybe 8-10.

I've had some good connections with 16 people, but I've also had terrible. Probably more terrible than good, to be honest.

There's always people with Bosnian connections and DSL cables made out of pipe cleaner, so you never know what the condition of the game will be until you start playing.

It get's pretty ridiculous when the game lags, not as bad in the first 2 days the game was out. I remember hangliding then the lag hit and all of a sudden, I shit you not, i'm in an ATV. After, the lag settles down I ride my ATV and it gives me that "You were killed by ScarfaceKilla2" then I drove to the opponents base, got the sample, drove back to our base, then what happends when i'm a foot away? I'm dead. Not like "dead" more like a counter-strike "OMG WTF" dead.
 
i FINALLY got to playing this today after having it since last sunday...great game :) single player has been fun so far, and multiplayer was pretty good too :)

might play some more later tonight
 
I've been hard at work on a Resident Evil 4 map. Still under construction, I've put about 10-12 hours into it. I'll let you guys know when it's ready to be played.

It's called REdemption right now, until I find a more clever name.

It was a blast without the lag earlier today. Definitely happy I picked this up. I'll be on in a couple hours.

i was wondering why you werent joining the game....anyway, i'll be on tonight as well :) the sniper is perfect in thsi game...not too easy (looks at halo 2), not too hard (looks the other way at conker)...good stuff *two thumbs up*

The perks of work (where I'm at right now). 5:30 PM 'til 11 or 12.

Funny thing is that it's my fourth time here within 24 hours. -_- Oh; and on two hours of sleep, too.

Anyway, I'm working on a killer hillbilly map. Made a barn and a woody fortress. Looks great.
 
I'll be on to get my ass kicked at multiplayer since it'll be my first time online in far cry tonight,
I'll try for ~8 pm central and be on for a couple hours, I'll also probably be on again after that

Yeah, I noticed everytime I kicked someone to make room there would always be an instant join to the room. I guess I shoulda exited out and made more private slots, but I guess I got caught up in killing people. But yeah, tonight I'll be on with you guys at some point.
 
Sounds like tonight's game is gonna be hella fun. I just found out my mother reserved my Halloween weekend saturday night for some brat to come over to our house, so I'll be on all night.
 
Well i've been on. Playing with some people, been doing race. It's ridiculous. Love it. Glad this game dropped in price so more people bought it.

As long as nobody does 16 player Chaos, i'm down.
 
I was playing with crispy, rabbitt, xecutioner, sticky, and some other random people, and it was hella fun,

The map maker is fantastic. Good fun. The map rabbit made was really good but it was too large for the 5 or 6 of us that were in the room. I've put in a few hours on a smaller map (kind of an arena) that's looking pretty good.

LOL, i fell asleep waiting for rabbit to publish his map...i woke up at 5 AM and turned off my xbox...rabbit was still online when i turned off my xbox...that's kinda sad...

oh well, i'll be on tonight (no school tomorrow for me! :D)

it was fun playing with some CAGs :)

I made a small map in about 30 minutes earlier tonight that has all of the modes playable. We've got to test it out soon. It actually turned out pretty good for the short amount of time I spent on it.

I'll probally be off for the rest of the night but I'll get on tomorrow.
 
Im looking for some people to play far cry with, my gamertag is Son of a Beep. I just finished single player and I didn't like multiplayer originally, but now it's starting to grow on me... if any of you would add me that would be awesome, thanks. I'll be looking for people who posted in this thread, too.

I worked on REdemption a lot. Pretty much moved everything. Much smaller, and more convenient.

Won't be on tonight. Grades just closed, and yet the Math teacher is giving us a 100-point test the second day of the new grading period!!!!!!!??????? Over what, I ponder.

I'll see you guys tomorrow.
