Fatal Frame 2 - 9.99 Best Buy B&M

I am going to check tomorrow for fatal frame 2 and arc the lad. Is Arc the Lad really 10 bucks? Also if the tags says $49.99, its probably because they didn't update the price right? So I should actually bring it up to have it checked?

I checked Walmart and it's ringing up as regular price and no price match without an ad or something tangible that shows it at $9.99. Ass!

Also picked up Haven (ps2) for five bucks, RE: CV for 15 bucks, Monster Rancher 4 for 15 bucks, and Sphinx (ps2) for 10 bucks.

This site is killin' me. 53 ps2 games on the shelf, still in the shrinkwrap.
 
FYI for everyone in the NYC area - I just went to the BB in Chelsea and although they didn't have FF2, they looked in the computer and the only BB in the area that had a copy was in Secaucus, NJ. And only one copy at that.

i just went to my best buy and they did not have fatal frame 2.

i feel bad for asking this, but if someone would be willing to pick one up for me, i'd give them $15 and a very big thank you.

No, but I was just checking since BB was clearencing it out, I thought maybe Walmart was too and just wasn't labled that way. It was a shot in the dark, but worth a shot. No dice though.
 
No luck for me. Sold out where I was. Saw Voodoo Vince for $10 though, as well as Dino Crisis (which someone mentioned already before, I believe). Starsky & Hutch, Rogue Ops, Corvette, Hunter the Reckoning Wayward, all for PS2 were $10 too.

None of them had it, although one of them (maybe KP) said that they had 3 "in the system," but that it was listed as sold out. :?
 
Also, when you call your Best Buys, be sure to ask for the Media department, because customer service doesn't seem to be able to actually check the inventory.

Also, as a reminder, count me among those who would be overjoyed if someone finds this and is willing to pass along an extra copy (at cost plus shipping and a little extra for your trouble) to help a CAG out. :D
 
I just picked up the last copy here in Mobile.. I did call ahead to see if they had any.. the rep told me 1 at 49.99... it will ring up the clearance price
 
there are 2 or 3 copies left at the best buy in pittsburgh on mcknight rd.

i picked up an extra copy in hopes to trade it for dark cloud 2 since mine was out, if anyone has it let me know
 
framingham, MA bestbuy has 1 copy left at 8:30pm 4/20..
I grabbed the second to the last copy. It's marked as 49.99 but rings up as 9.99

called the bb in woodland hills, porter ranch, and burbank...all sold out along with the recent slew of penny guides...

after actually going to my BB, I ended up w/ an extra copy of FF II.

would someone be willing to pick up one of those copies of Rez I heard mentioned at either TRU or CC? if so, I'll put this game toward paying for that, as I know Rez will cost more. I'll pay the difference for Rez as well.

Yeah...I actually jumped into my car upon first seeing this thread and disrupted my ordinarily sedentary lifestyle only to find no copies at my local BestBuy. So I hate this deal too!! It hath caused me to rend my garment! ...well...well, not really. And truth be known, I have mixed feelings about this title, because I'm a big chicken and have no business tackling such a scary series. *sigh* These bargains have nigh well unhinged me, man. And Jekki, you're hangin off the doorjam too.
 
Wow, this is what I get for not visiting CAG everyday. How does the game go from $49.99 straight to $9.99 like that?

Time to hit up some of the local stores...

I bought fatal frame 2 from best buy like 6 weeks ago for 49.99. It's still unopened and I still have the receipt. Do y'all think they'd do a pricematch?

I Think you have only up to a month to price match. Not sure though.
 
For what it's worth: The clerk I spoke with today (at the Ft. Lauderdale store) told me his computer showed over 300 copies in their warehouse, but none in any of the area stores. After I told him that the game does not show up on bestbuy.com either, he said it's likely they'll be stocking them in the FL stores throughout the week.

Moral of the story: keep checking!

Just got back from Best Buy and was able to get Voodoo Vince, Dynasty Tactics 2 and NHL Hitz Pro all for $30. No luck on FF2 tho...damn it! One other thing of note was Grand Theft Auto GH for PS1 was $2...I know its old but for only $2 I'm sure some fun could still be had.
 
Mine didn't have anything except about 30 copies of Rogue Ops for PS2.. oh and Haven... Roseville Michigan
