so maaaaaaaaaan this is for all u doods still on the fence about going to Evo... or too broke to go.

check it, u know how u watch fighting games and see like Daigo and Mike Ross n shyt and get all inspired from them??

becoz I dont.

but I did see this movie called Ocean's 11, and that did inspire me!!

basically, it's about this group of people who steal a lot of money from a casino, and right now Im thinking that I too can pull off something like that.

granted not on the level that they did it, but a few hundred can definitely make the trip pay for itself.

it can be as audacious as beating the crap outta Justin Wong for his tournament earnings,

or as simple as smuggling tupperware and ziploc bags into Bellagio so we can sell food to poor fighting gamers (or spend the rest of the weekend eating for free).

Either way we cant leave empty handed, and anybody who knows me knows that I am REAL SMART so if there's anyone who can organize and successfully pull off a caper like that, it would definitely be me.

if anybody's in then meet me at Reuben's house the nite before and we'll go over the deets there!!

Got a price range in mind? Any of the MadCatz Tournament Edition sticks are good or the Hori Real Arcade Pro sticks.
 
if you watch evo there's a high chance that there will be some sort of madcatz te sale because there always is during high profile tournaments.
 
If you really want to get back into tournaments you should get a Qanba 4. All sanwa parts like the TE, just as easy to mod, but it works on the pc,ps3, and 360 with out having to mod it to be this way. Plus same price, maybe less depending on shipping.

I havent really followed the politics of what games get included or not at EVO. If Soul Calibur 5 comes out in 2012 in time, do you reckon it will be there for sure?

Well, it'll be a new game and MK somehow made it before even being released. I'm not sure how the politics work either, but I'd say it has a strong chance if it's popular enough since SCIV was featured before.

just look at 1st month sf4 c.viper vs modern c.viper

i'm sure sfxt won't play like how they're advertising
