working in press is always fun... I've had about 2 or 3 jobs of that, but it takes some legwork if you are working in multiple fields of interest >_

supposedly it's from a novela... or something of that nature... those shows are insane! I had a long talk with my dad about how every novela plays out the same way... real deep :lol:
 
2 vids of Chacrana and I playing some crippled third strike. bad lag, bad controllers, no intentional parries, lots of taunts. I'm makoto, he's ken. if you imagine everything happening a second or two before it's supposed to happen, the matches are amazing.

Apossum: what settings did you have for your gamebridge? how large did the video files come out to be and what program did you use?

I tried it with gears a long ass time ago and it wasn't pretty.
 
i used the software that comes with it on "good" settings. the vids are about 18-20 mb. I tried playing some 3D games with it and it looked awful. I can only play 2D games with it since they're bright
 
After watching that second match again, it really was good. I laughed at the sheer balls I had for taunting in the face of death.

S-video might make 3d games look better. sucks that there aren't any settings for brightness, contrast, or anything with the software though. can't even go widescreen.

hehe, I was trying to think of a way to do that. it's pretty much just us saying, "awww, fuck your taunt." and "what the fuck?! I didn't even do that!!!" or "whoa it parried for me" need those vf sticks baaaad

That was before we hit our stride with the game too. Granted, I still taunt like a motherfucker after that match, but I also had a little more skill to go with it. Though I did taunt and get nailed with the super a couple times...

I wish the animation would be nicer, but that's beyond the scope of the project that'd being handled... :(

It'd be nice though... but, I am glad it will keep the same gameplay :)

I've always hoped that Capcom would make sprites based on the re-done character portraits in SSF2T

True, beggars can't be choosers. I think everyone agrees they won't add more animation. Kinda like what SNK did with KOF 94' but much nicer. I can't wait to see Zangief.
 
I wonder if there is any chance that they would fix those bugs if GG AC were release here? Maybe the Wii version will get them fix.

Now I'm really glad that I bought Slash a couple weeks before Accent Core dropped.

Hopefully they'll fix what is wrong and issue replacements for all the people who bought it on PS2. Possibly fixing what is wrong and putting on the Wii?....might as well just throw poo at everyone.

Slash had Aba as well as that different Sol, right?

I might just grab Slash when I make my order and skip Accent Core altogether. I'm not so big into Guilty Gear I need to have every last revision especially if Accent Core didn't add any characters.

I'm moving on June 29th, and I'm not going to have a lot of time or money to spend on games anymore since I'll be going to school + finding a place to stay with my gf + paying bills, so I'm kind of stocking up on what I want now so I have plenty to play and am only going to hit the really big sales.

I wasn't planing on getting GG Slash, but Accent Core is such a mess (and I doubt anything will be done to the US version, if it even comes out for PS2), that I figure I might as well throw it in this order to save on shipping.

That $10 coupon from Strikebang when it comes is a big help too :D

I keep waiting for Melty Blood to drop price, hope it happens one day. I've been patient for this long, waiting more time won't hurt.

Unfortunately, I might have to pull the trigger soon, since Play-Asia has it as backordered, which means it's disappearing soon.
 
on the note of SFHDII animation being so so, it makes sense if it is to play like the originals. You can't have more frames if you want it to play the same. I don't mind, since it'll still look good. Heck, we have yet to see backgrounds and I expect those to be great... oh and they released a zangief pic:

Never played any of the previous Bloody Roar games, but I liked the Gamecube version. Fun and mindless,it was fun for about a month. If they could give the game a lot more depth It could be better. Aren't the Bloody Roar guys the same developers who make the naurto games?
 
The only Bloody Roar game I have played (and own) is Bloody Roar 2. It's not very deep but it's a fun game, especially multiplayer. :D
