Fighter Thread XXXIII - Sweatier than Urien's man diaper!

A one night trip back home ended up costing me 260 dollars because of a jerk-off state trooper. I got a speeding ticket on the way back to my apartment. The worst part was that I ended up getting pulled over on the freaking exit to my college. Like the literal exit ramp. :(

Pretty broke now lol. Who wants to gameshare the Tekken online patch w/ me? ;)

Also, picked up a Hori Fighting Stick EX2 and it doesn't work with the latest version of MAME for me. It says

Wow, Law looks like a fool IMO. I hope Eddy and Baek (my new #1) look the same, they're killer.

Hey MarkMan (or anybody else), mind shooting me some combos and juggles with Baek? Mostly juggles, I've got some pretty nice combos of my own.
 
Baek easy juggle =

launch(not from b+4 launch though), u/f+3+4, 1,2, 1+2,4...

If you want some advanced juggles with him I can post them but if you're not familiar with his flamingo cancels/properties you might not understand the notation :( Just let me know... :)

BASIC JUGGLES
d/f+2, 1,2,3~F, 1,2,3~F, 1,2,3~F, FLA 1+2,4
*also works from pretty much every launcher Baek has... not just d/f+2...

d/b+4, d+3,3,N+3 (I don't like this one, but ppl use it...)
d/b+4, d+4,N,4,4~[3]~F, d+4 (this is a guaranteed combo, basically when you hit 3~F to go into flamingo stance you can do moves with your left leg by hitting right kick... so in this instance you're doing d+4 to get his d+3 snake kick...

^^ This was the confusing stuff I was talking about lol...

If we play online, I can show you these things... but yea, I'll post more later... time for a midnight snack...

I LOVE these stages. They're freaking awesome.

I should really buy Tekken 5. I'll go on my PS3 now... we'll see if something can tear me away from reading The Count of Monte Cristo (I'm enlightened.)

it does great damage and can be pulled off from anything, you really dont need to kno any other combos lol (except for against the wall combo)

and d+2, d+3,3,N+3 is better than d/b+4, d+3,3,N+3,

when you pull off a d/b+4 you have much better options such as the 2nd combo MM posted
 
Yea, whenever you get a launch, and a wall is nearby, go to the wall... don't end the juggle with 1+2,4... when they splat on the wall do 1,2,3~F,3,3,3...

I'll be on tonight Apossum. Hopefully around 8-830 or so I should get on. If you want, we could use the 360 chat for voice chat since I don't have a headset.

Yeah, more ggs. you definitely won more with Jack-5. I have to figure out how to stop all of his weird moves!


and chacrana, you got better with each match. I think DoA started out with me constantly beating you down too, but look how that turned out ;)

lol, my considerable Tekken 3 ability from like 9 years ago didn't hold up was well as I thought it would. But I really did like DR, so I'll definitely devote some time to it. Well... next weekend since my PS3 is staying at home for now.

I want to buy the update, but I really won't have the time (that I want) to play it for another week or more.

How has the lag been with all the matches you guys have been having lately?

making a room and inviting friends usually has the best connections for me so far. worth it IMHO.

If anyone wants to play some Tekken send me an invite. I am ok at the game, as I never got deep into it like other fighters. But it is fun to play vs new people.

If anyone is thinking about getting the Hori Fighting Stick for the Wii, just FYI it is wireless (plugs in like a nunchuck/classic controller into the Wii remote)...

I'd be up playing some tekken DR and then Fatal Fury, but I've been up for nearly 35 hours straight.... >_< too much crap going on. After this weekend I can finally put time into tekken online like i've been wanting.

Add me for T5DRO! I'm not sure if anyone will ever play me since my schedule rarely syncs with the CAG Fighting Thread folks, but I won't shrink from any challenges, if you catch me online. I promise to lose honorably. Or at least quickly. As my Internet connection allows. :p
