I got 3200 on the cheap the other day, so I'll pick it up if all the FG regs get it. By everyone I mean ALL of you guys.

Oh and surprise, surprise.....the Xbox 360 D-Pad absolutely blows for Puzzle Fighter HD.
 
Oh and Tekken DR online - meh, I may check it out. It'd be a must buy for me if it was on 360, but I haven't even set my PS3 up at my new apartment yet so I really don't know if I'm gonna bother with it. That and I'm thinking my connection might not be good enough for that game except late night.

I'm just worried that my connection isn't gonna be good enough to really even play the game so I'll end up wasting 10 bucks or whatever it costs.

Don't forget about practice and survival. Plus, when you do have good connection whenever it is that you do, you can throwback and play this... also, you may have to kill your firstborn.

wow,is B.C coming out for a US release? well ill pick up the US ver anyway...Well if Mark of the Wolves gets this much priase from you guys..im really sold. time to go order it.

U have MvC 2 for the DC but i hate the pad for it..and never purchased a joystick for the DC. if its at a good deal for the Ps2 ill be sure to pick that up.

Mark of the Wolves is an awesome fighter, probably one of my most played games on my JPN PS2 next to KoF XI.

As for MvC2, I've only seen a Korean import version on ebay. I'm not 100% sure if it works with JPN PS2's though.

I did have a lot of problems connecting last night, but once I got in a room it was fine. I could host rooms too.
 
I will be the one guy that says I didn't find mark of the wolves to be all that great. So...yeah. I much preferred Last Blade 2.
 
I played some T5 online last night and sent out friend invited to a couple of people. I just realized how much i need to brush up on my tekken 5 skills. The wireless on my ps3 is giving me alot of lag in this game. Not sure if it is the other people in the room or if it is the wireless gonna try playing it tonight withthe wired connection hopefully it shall be loads better

The Korean version of MvC2 would work fine on JP PS2s. Asian/Chinese/Korean PS2 games are interchangable with their Japanese counterparts. Plus the Asian releases usually have a partial english translation of the instructions.
 
There's a practice mode now?! Sweet... assuming it's useful like the Tekken 2 practice mode was. I've been out of the Tekken loop for awhile...

I haven't tried voice chat yet-- it says that it puts more weight on the connection when you enable it :\
 
after 2 years of not playing against humans in tekken, i need alot of brushing up time... people like Markman already have an advantage by having a regular group of people in person to play with... unfair >_<

I really want to work on my dragunov though... even though I get my ass handed to me 90% of the time when I play him. I hated playing this one kid last nigth that was just playing paul the entire time... he didn't even change into his P1 outfit... I expect to see alot of paul players though for people starting.

I wish there was another way to scroll through the command list in practice mode in T5DR other than pressing L3 and R3, since my stick doesn't have those buttons. Maybe I can re-bind them; I'll need to look into that later.
 
Tekken online rules. It's very smooth...and finally playing people at my level is great. my main complaints are with invites and all that. Sony's non-unified friend's list system is kind of a mess.

yeah, the lag was really at a minimum. the connection bars on screen the whole time is really a great idea.

there were some good moments there, but you pretty much wiped the floor with me. I'm not too precise with this arcade stick yet.

I noticed a few cags joined and then disappeared. were you kicking people rolento? :lol:

maybe it was just the game being weird. like those weird rooms that show up but then you join them and are full with people, then everyone mysteriously gets booted before a match can start. There are some weird matchmaking issues.

Good games yesterday. I will stand by the fact money matches make you play better. I said it all of yesterday but someone really should have recorded our matches.

It was nice to break even. If I didn't randomly challenge Joe to a money match, I would have been up a couple bucks. Though playing against him was fun, I have to say I felt bad taking Randall's money in both CVS2 and Marvel.
 
when can we schedule a time for all of us to play some Tekken DR? I've only gotten to play Apossum and SmallWind (GGS by the way). I saw n8nmonster pop in a room i was playing but he left... >_<


also, why does it seem that online, I'm one of the few people that really enjoys using customized characters??? 10% of the people I run into online use custom items... I put a hella lot of work into getting my characters the way I wanted...
 
so what's the easiest way to get a US Slim PS2 to read imports? Or is it a clusterfuck all around? I'd love to have those last blade 2 and garou ports. Two of my favorite fighters ever.
