Who are you using? Are you referring to the command throw after rolling? That one is tough since you have to try and keep the guy's spacing off.

Now for a question of my own: is KoFXII worth 19.08? :p
 
Ryu. he was rolling right up to me then using that weird couple hits into a throw move. so like....back or front dash right when he gets to me, then punish?

Actually, I read that you can throw Abel out of the roll. IIRC he is also open right after the roll to a low counter?

Of course, I'm the lamest scrub answering this question soooooo..... >_

Ranked matches on 360 have been mostly awesome for me so far. Only a couple of idiots who just don't know how to play per session. Mostly pretty decent players and a decent variety of characters. I'm surprised!
 
Everytime I expect a ragequit on PSN I don't get it... i usually get a "shit, that shouldnta happened..." when i beat em, but overall everyone is nice with some occasianal GGS

Never sold on Amazon before. How easy is it? Honestly, been looking forward to eBay and it's insane fees that just keep on getting bigger and bigger.

very easy. you write up a description, name a price, and pick a shipping option...takes a minute. The fees are a bit more than ebay, though. Not a ton more and I think it's worth it since you don't have to mess with formatting a description and all that.

Just make sure to list yours at the lowest price and keep checking your listing, because people will go $.01 less and sell before you. Also, when you're a first time seller, they hold your first earnings for a while. I forget how long, but it may have been like 5 weeks.
 
I don't think you need to sell at the lowest price, but it helps. Also, lol at Amazon: "sell yours here or Get a $9.76 Gift Card." Hmm, let me think about that one....durrr.

Not a bad price, if you have friends playing locally. The single player is non-existent and online is a joke. Don't expect to get much out of it on your own.

On the KOF topic K' made the XIII cut. Also from what I've seen the sprites have been scaled down which I'm happy to see. I think make the sprites look cleaner and not as pixelated. It looks to be on the right track, but still skeptic.

I'm expecting Kula & Maxima to show up on K's team.

Amazon sent me my costume code this past Saturday. Did you at least get the "unexpected delay" email from Amazon? I received that last Thursday, which said they were going to have codes sent out in 5 business days. I'd say email them if they haven't sent you your costume code by this evening.

Yeah I used him in Final Fight a lot... my favorite combo was P, P, P.

I want to get good with him so bad, but its pretty terrible how often I mess up his busin target combo. Ill be fine in trials and in practice, then in a match....out the friggin window.

I saw a video of Daigo using him and it makes me want to get half that good with him

This happens with all those capcom art books. The minute they go out of stock resellers are trying to flip them for $150. Same thing happened with the okami book. It'll go back in stock in a few weeks and be back down to retail price.
 
I'm having trouble finding an online resource to learn Arcana Heart 1 (Full). Specifically combo threads. Seems like every place is a just basic mechanics.
 
That is crazy if it sells, estarland has restocked that book at least twice since amazon has had its sale.

Every time I fight a Ken, they're really bad. I love baiting them with the oldest SF2 trick in the book-- hadoken, they jump, shoryuken :lol:

I seem to be stuck around 900 PP. got a 50% win rate on ranked, so I always end up right back around 900 after each session.

I can't break the 2000 barrier. I recently dropped to 1200-ish, but that was because I was trying to get Dan to C Rank. I won 3 times out of all of the attempts, then decided to give up. Hell, I got all his colors and taunts before I won. :lol:
 
GGs to anathema and beef. Damn vega and his fast wall dives. Motherfucker is quick as lightning. :) Plus I need to start blocking those ambigious crossups from your Ibuki, so much damage off of her target combo. And there was a lot of execution mistakes on my part. Yeah...
