Fighting Game Thread 8 went so deep, so deep, put that ass to sleep

I've never really been a fan of Naruto fighting games, but I like the way the cinematic battles look. I'll get it when it gets down to 20 or 30 bucks, because fighting games don't stick around long at a 60 dollar pricetag.

But srsly, I could QCF, QCB that chick all night long (w/a lil HCF, HCB 360 mix up action in there of course).

How do your glasses keep breaking? Are you running into Kenshiro on the subway and pissing him off?
 
BlazBlue Continuum Shift is coming out this July, anyone interested in it? I sure am, never played Calamity Trigger, but I see no need too, since Continuum Shift is pretty much an upgrade.
 
I'm interested in it, I'll probably get it around day 1. Though I hope this game doesn't get dragged out into 20 yearly expansions like Guilty Gear.

Yeah, I'm day 1-ing that bitch. it helps that it's $40 this time around.

It also helps that there's like... nothing else coming out this summer.

you need to hook me up with your leftovers. well maybe not that. maybe your side salads, the ones that just come with the meal and you don't want to really eat it.

Does anyone know when Ultimate Mortal Kombat for Nintendo DS got rare? Is it due to all the Midway bankruptcy?

I remember this game being $19.99 when it first came out and now Complete/Incomplete copies are fetching double.

Picked one up for about $22 today.

Just got back from Cali. Took my wife and daughter to Disneyland for the first time.

I thought it was going to be a long long long two days but my hotel had MvC1 and SamShoII (via the 5 slot) arcade machines! I didn't even mind that the pool and hot tub were swarming with kids when the machines were just sitting there so lonesome.

That's something I've noticed I always do. If I'm in a hotel, I go to the pool area not to see the pool, but to check if there's any arcade games there. Whenever there is something, it's usually crap, but I'll play it anyway because arcade cabs are cool.
