Fighting Game Thread 9 - Wu-Tang Edition

Sakura is no joke. She can apply pressure pretty hard once she gets in. So many guesses, it gets annoying.

There is a local Sakura player that is really good. As a Seth player, it's gross to see how much stuff Sakura has to shut down Wall Jumps, Jump In's and Air-To-Air's.
 
Sakura really is serious business. I'm willing to bet when SSF4 comes out in arcades in Japan, someone is going to break her.

You almost beat me with experience, I actually had to stop two or three times to get in a guaranteed hit. Luckily though, I picked Ryu, the force of the scrub was on my side!

Real talk though, my arm was fucking sore after that.

My thumb hurt, but I was on for about 2 hours playing beforehand.

Jesus christ, my arm hurt after that match, how the fuck? I thought I mashed harder too! I was twisting that shit like crazy. I'm very disappointed by the results, but I mashed as hard as I could. :cry: Need a stick-cam next time though, would be way funnier.

EDIT: Seriously though ReRo, don't mash, the times I did pause was because I knew you would ALWAYS do a wake-up rising jaguar and took advantage of it.

Well at least now I know why you said "GGs" instead of cussing me out afterward. I thought you would figure out that I was mocking you on purpose! Oh well... just stop mashing, k? It doesn't help at all. When you hit that HK, press it only once. It's going to come out when you press it or it won't because you're in hit/block stun. Hitting it immediately after isn't going to change anything unless you're double tapping to link it. Wake-up SRKs are just too easily predictable and punishable. Mashing throw doesn't help either, it will either go through or it won't. It's a hard habit to break but... DAMN! Just do it! There's more negatives than positives to mashing, as illustrated in my l33t mashing skillz! That goes for ALL of you who mash btw. You know who you are! Chances are I may know too, I DO watch the replays. ^_^
