:D Guys a Walmart close to us just put these on special along with DDR2 for PS2. The DDR also has the dance pad included. Both are 10.00 The walmart is in Steubenville OH (I live in PA, but nor far). Anyway check your local Walmarts and see if they also have this great deal.

Okay I THINK :p this is the number to the wal mart... I'll call the guy tomorrow that picked them up for us and get the number for sure, but I did a zipcode search on the Wal Mart website and this was the only Stuebenville store listed soooo here you go.

Max I wish I would have bought more than 2 (3 technically because my friend also threw in 10 bucks) because I would have gladly picked everyone else up one, but I just found out about this site 2 days ago.

Its no big deal. I believe you, hell I saw F-Zero for like 22 in december at one Wal-Mart so things like this are not unexpected

Im on the phone with them RIGHT now, call the number and ask... I just talked to a girl named Lana in Electronics.. you have to specify for Gamecube. I also asked if she still had any in stock she looked but said she couldnt see any to call back in the morning because she still had things to put away... PLEASE call and see for yourselves though lol.

Sadly, It could be true. Clearance games at Wal-Mart vary from store to store. A month after it came out I got a copy of Hunter the Reckoning for $10 and a copy of SSX Tricky for $15 Both were still new at the time, and when I returned to my home town Wal-Mart they were both $49.99. Seems a little fishy but could be true I picked up a copy of Def Jam Vendetta for $5 just the other night.

Dude at YMMV to your original subject! This is not a deal at very many wal-marts. Probably only one.

It sounds to me you know or your freind knows someone in the inside and he discounted the games for you. I had my neighbor which is the district manager for walmart in missouri to search the database this morning for me to see if any store was selling this for 9.99 and he concluded no and the lowest the computer showed that the game had ever been sold at was 34.96 or something like that.
"sigh" how about calling the freaking store ??
If you check earlier in the thread, someone DID call the 'freaking store' and they said that they weren't running that deal.

Call the store for YOURSELF. I never even imagined posting something like this on a forum aimed at helping people save money would cause such a freaking mass of venom aimed at a person just trying to share a deal they took advantage of. You people either need to call the store to see for yourselves, or stfu.

WHY ???? would I even provide the number ?
Oh obviously I must be lying beccause I've done everything except drive you to the freaking store yourself to prove to you people(refusing to listen) that it was a deal.

hey, if you're being honest, you've done all that you can to prove it so don't worry about it. thanks for the post.

to everybody else, doesn't matter if he's lying or not b/c if the one close to you has it for full price... then you can't really do anything about it right... except to keep calling him a liar, lol!

just joking
How about we move on to something else? I hate pranksters. Anyways, if anyone wants to know I just saw Ninja Gaiden for $9.99 at my local Walmart. To get it, u have hop on one leg for 5 minutes, then spin around, run a mile in less than 6 minutes, give the guy $50 and it will show up as $9.99.
Has anyone tried this before? I need to know if this works

...I almost feel sorry for newbs nowadays. He found a deal. It apparently was a very ymmv situation...but hell, he actually posted afterwords on his defense, gave you the # to that particular store, and he didnt even buy a bajillion (yes, bajillion) copies to ebay. You guys need to stop jumping on the back of anyone posting a deal that you cant get (and that especially goes for those of you with 50-100 posts...no room to speak)

WTF?! Quality of post is now based on volume? It's the same at all forums, the "old timers" prancing around like they're better than everyone else. It really gets old.

Hell no. Ive got a crap load of posts that make no damn sense...BUT, when newbies start bitching about other newbies, it does get quite aggravating. I have no problem with low post counts...but having a low post count and being an ass (not you, you have an almost valid point) i really dont like.

I agree... the number of posts only proves how often you post comments. There is no measure of who finds the best deals. As a newbie I found the $5 Best Buy deal... luckily some people were able to get it before they pulled it from their website.... Otherwise I would have been ripped for posting it...

whoah.. ok. Whether I believe it is real or not doesn't matter, but I'm going to try to guess how it could've happenned. I have a theory, because I've seen some pretty crazy things at Wal Mart (have you ever really wondered how many of em come to work slammed or have bottles of rum in their car? I'm friends with one of those kind of Wal Mart workers). Anyways, its possible that the person pricing the games (probably one of those all-knowing department managers) saw the link cable, and priced it the same as all the other link cables (which are 9.99 in most cases if I'm not mistaken). Probably not a deal, just an error. Anything is possible. I've seen a six pack of Smirnoff Ice at a Super Center for like 799.99 before. Never underestimate the stupidity of one of the finest examples of corporate America :)

I just got back from one of my local WalMart's last night and I found a copy of Simpson's Hit & Run and one last copy of FF: CC each for $20. It was the one in the plastic package with the link cable bundled at the bottom. Maybe it is possible this guy got it for $9.99. The funny thing is that this particular Walmart rarely has anything on sale, although I once picked up a PS2 network adapter for $11.

Did you buy it? That was probably one of the 5 limited edition 6 packs. The bottles have diamonds embedded in the glass, and the caps are made out of titanium. One of them just went for $5,799.51 on eBay (plus $7,500 shipping, insurance extra). I hope you bought the one at Walmart.
