Final Fantasy VII Remake from Best Buy Preorder !?

Vagrant Story wasn't for the PS2.
 
How about SE approaching one of those Chrono Trigger projects (or combining both teams) and offering them a crack at making a remake as employees??? Oh wait ... that would be too novel of an approach to the business. It would certainly cut their costs of developing the game. The two remake projects were doing it for free, so I'm sure they wouldn't have had to be paid a lot of money to work on it. Secondly, SE will have final say over what they like and don't like about the project, which gives them control over the content.
 
You know what RPG should be remade or rereleased? Panzer Dragoon Saga. I keep hearing about how great it is, but I have no Saturn and sure as hell ain't gonna go buy one along with a super expensive (rare) game just to play it.

More attractive sure. I'm positive they'd add some extra mini missions along the way as well.

But do all of y'all really get all excited about dropping another 30 + hours of your life into a game you've already played?

The only Square game I'd be interested in being retold or updated would be Parasite Eve. The FF franchise bores the heck out of me.

I play all my PSx games on the PS2...:) regardless VS is better than 90% of the PS2 only RPGs as well :D

No kidding. I don't know much about the latest game coming in the fall besides the fact that ithere aren't any random battles. I'll assume it features a effeminate looking male character as well as a cutscene featuring a character doing backflips while shooting guns or throwing other weaponry.
