It's not rare, but it rarely drops in price. It's one of the greatest games ever made, one of Nintendo's best selling franchises, and it's obviously a first party Nintendo title, so it's not getting a price drop any time soon.
It's probably the best game I've ever played. You should buy it. I bought it at full price a year ago and it was worth it.

Yeah I think BB had it on sale for $30 last year, lowest I saw it. It is available as a download if you don't care about how Nintendo does online purchases.
Probably going to have to pay full MSRP for it. Most GS in my area still have it. You might luck out and find a used copy you can use some type of coupon or promo for to get it cheaper.
