FORZA Motorsport 2 - Gen Discussion - March Pack Due 3/19 - 400pts - 13 New Cars!

What is the most someone online can pay someone else for a car? When I eventually get my Xbox 360 back, I'll be willing to pay someone 500,000 credits if they can make a car design out of the logo in my avatar.

I'll make you the car for $500,000 credits. Either send me the car you want to paint or let me know what car you want me to buy.

I'm not sure the limit on how much you can sell the car for, but I've seen cars for sale online that were $9,000,000 so $500,000 shouldn't be a problem.

Also, a bigger picture of your avi would make it easier.

So I'm officially done with school. I've got a lot more time to play this now. I'm one set away from completing the Proving Grounds. How is everyone else doing? And do we have a night where we tear shit up online yet?
 
Clawing my way towards 50. I think Mtimisone is already there. Everytime I see him on, he's doing one of the endurance races. Anyone stumble across any races with good payouts, short spans, and crappy cars (even on Hard AI setting)?

God this no Xbox 360 is killing me, I still have Forza 2 in its original Gamerang mailer, just sitting here.
 
How the fuck do you guys do such crazy paint jobs. I just got this game two days ago and I'm trying to figure out how to do the paint but it is all shapes and what not.

A lot of people doing these have either Graphic Design backgrounds, or they spent a lot of time on Forza 1.

Everything is done with shapes.

But even pretty good people say a decent hood design or whatever will take 4+ hours.
 
I've been helluva lazy.

Still gotta finish my Go With the Flow car.

I played online for the first time today, and I have to say that if you get in a room with a good group of people it is a lot of fun. The kind of people that won't throw tantrums if you give them a little love tap in the corner. Just say that they will get you back next race. Tons of fun IMO. I think we should get together Friday night.

Eh, Friday I'm graduating and getting trash.... I mean, being a responsible high school graduate. But maybe Saturday?

I have to say though, I'm digging the auction house. I grabbed a BMW M3 for 5 grand and am working on getting a Supra and WRX for around the same price. That's definitely the better deal than buying it from the "dealer".

And my General Lee Charger is up to S Class and it hauls! I have to have all the helpers on when I use it. But my god, 90 miles an hour in first gear...:drool: In any case, I've gotten out of The Proving Grounds, and am working in the next tier. I'm about half done that. I'm glad I'm getting back into this.
 
I think we should try to set a day like they did with Chromehounds.

I know we can't please everyone, but we should try to get a general consensus. I like the idea of it being on a weekday as people are always doing stuff on the weekends. So I like the idea of maybe a monday night race night.
 
A set day would be a good idea. And weekdays work for me. So long as it's after 8 pm EST.

I'm also pleased that I bought a car online for 5,000 and change, and can sell it for 25,000. 20,000 isn't a bad profit :cool:. Too bad I'm keeping the car :lol:

Also, I'm sick of seeing Hentai on cars. That's just weird for me.
 
If a gaming night materializes, count me in for whatever day. If people can't make it, they can't make it, but setting a day at least gives people something to keep in mind.

Also, I'll throw any planned event up in the XBLA name sticky just to maybe include more people.
 
You'll never get everyone to agree on one night, so you just have to pick a generally workable night and hope for the best. My hat's in the ring for a weekday, but whatever, I just want to get some non-Gears non-asshole online gaming in.
 
I'm in for weekdays nights after 930pmEST. I do petition more racing in the lower race classes (D and C). I absolutely despise the higher class racing.

I agree with everything said right there.

But I think we should set up one night a week where we race and what not, then we have a second day that week with a theme. Like Super Cars, Pacific Muscle, etc, it'd be a good way to mix things up a bit and to get people to mess around with cars they normally wouldnt touch.
 
Funny enough, I drive manual IRL but I haven't the slightest clue about how to go about it in the game so I can maximize my speed efficiency. Any tips?

I can deal with the other handicaps off, but I downright blow at Forza on manual.
 
I'm going through the Endurance races right now--7 laps in Nurburgring are hell.

And I don't know why it is, but I just like the lower race classes more, which, unfortunately for me, are mostly behind me in my career. Balancing the lack of assists, manual, and trying to keep the damn cars on the road as well as behind me is pretty damn annoying. Then you have cars that just blow by you on the straightaway, but do shit in the corners. Ugh.
 
Haven't played in a couple of days due to a new book I'm addicted to, might pick this one back up over the weekend. My personal goal is getting to level 30 as for now.

just hit level 30 with 500k in the bank. Also bought a Boondock saints car. AMAZING! Hoping to show it off to you guys soon. I rented it so i gotta re rent it again

I use the one that has the rear view mirror. A lot easier/safer than pressing Y all the time, for me.

Ease on the break on the straightaway before the turn. Ideally, you shouldn't be breaking at all when you start to turn. When you're almost done turning, SLOWLY ease onto the accelerator. The worst thing you can do is slam down on either trigger on a turn.
