Thanks :) I think I'll just leave it until someone else complains about it slowing down their internet connection (but than again who doesn't have cable/DSL in 2007 :lol:)

but i like the chargers as well, its just the raiders are better, lets see if merriman can take down jamarcus

you can hit X when youre buying a car, to see the "car list" then change over to engine type or whatever, and then sort it, thats the only way i know of

I have a request.

Sports themed cars was one of my first ideas I had for the game, until I found out I suck at it. One of my first Ideas was a NY yankees car. A solid white car with the NY on the side and then dark blue pinstripes. I'd like to see a good one if you are up for the challenge.

I jumped onto the auction house today, and bought a couple Mini Coopers. One of them is a Borat themed Mini, which looks great, and another is a Smurfs Mini, which looks absolutely amazing. How people can draw such articulate lines and stuff, using basic shapes, is amazing. I'm trying to sort out this overly complicated Gamertag linking nonsense, once I do, I'll show you the pictures, they are amazing.

How can a team that has the worst record in the league 2-3 years in a row be better than the Chargers?
 
I've been pretty uninspired to play this lately. I hit level 14 or 15 and have been having a bitch of a time getting back into it. I think I spoiled myself by playing for a while with the assists on and now that I'm not using them and have amped up the difficulty I'm not having the fun I used to have with it. Maybe I need to play online to get a fresh breath of air into my system. Any one down for a race in the next half an hour or so?

The first two tiers (Proving Grounds and Amateurs) as well as the Factory-Spec races have the best racing by far in the whole game. I still can't stand any of the A-class and up racing though. Though some cars handles sublimely, on the whole I find it utterly boring and mildly frustrating at times.

I'm not really a fan of the first two, but factory-spec is pretty awesome. Totally level field, I dig it.

You guys should try this "reverse tag" Franky and I have played a few times on the Nissan Speedway. Heavy S-class cars going 150+mph the opposite way, against tiny little D-class lightweights, makes for some crazy carnage. I never knew cars could fly up into the air 200 feet from a head on collision.

I might actually have seen it...can't recall since I was so little at the time. But I admit they were terrible in the 90's (I remember I had tickets to the Raiders vs. Chargers game when Ryan Leaf played but refused to go because they sucked so bad :lol:), but from 2005 and on it's another different story.

If I'm remembering correctly, the last time the Raiders made the Super Bowl it didn't turn out so good for them either. . .

Damn, times aren't uploaded after you sign back into Live? I was trying to get through the game without interruptions so I unplugged my network cable (since one time, after running a couple endurance races, it signed me out of Live 45mins into a race, signed out my GT and kicked me back to the menu--grrr). Oh well.

Anyone know the best way to get the lowest PI win achievement? I forget what it's called. Even with a car 10 or so ranking points ahead of the next fastest car, I only finish a few seconds ahead. I can't imagine I could go from 8th to 1st with the AI turned up all the way still.

If you just want the achievement put that shit into Easy Mode with all the assists on. You should crush everyone.

I'm level 19 on Career, am I the only one dumping like my entire savings into car upgrades to even compete in some of these races now?

Whats your difficulty on? Usually the cars i win from previous series are enough for me to easily win on Medium, or barely win on Hard. Though ih ave boosted a few cars HP if i race on hard, but not my entire savings.
