I liked the way they did it originally, as a brief narrative vignette. Playing the whole game as one could get really tiresome, I hope not though. I also hate that development started with the studio's B-team.
 
I want to start Fallout 3 but I hate that you have to decide your skills or whatever in the beginning. I always worry that I'm going to fuck up my future if I pick the wrong skills.

I know I'm a "neophyte" as you would say, but where do you get deathcore from that? I thought deathcore was stuff like Job and Whitechapel. I see the parallels between them and Converge, but I would hardly call them a rip-off.

The Bree bree vocals, the twangy tuning to the guitars and the overuse of shitty breakdowns. JFAC and Whitechapel ARE deathcore, but this shithere is taking what Converge does, making it deathcore, and adding a lot of suck.

Brutal Legend looks incredible to me. I absolutely love metal and the things surrounding it, so I can pretty much guarantee I'm going to love it.

I suppose you wouldn't be interested in it if you hate metal, though.

IDK, I haven't thought anything Hip-Hop related in the past 10 years was worth a shit- but I thought BoTS was fun and hell, and ended up liking 50 & his music more after playing it. I guess it's pretty light and palatable stuff though.

Also, I guess BoTS wasn't exactly steeped in a Hip-Hop universe though nor was it filled with it's imagery. Probably not the best analogy after all.

I don't particularly love metal. But I can appreciate the imagery and shit because... well... it's just fuckING BADASS. I've always had a soft sport for Rob Zombie artwork -- and in a sense, this reminds me of that, but more classic or something -- something like Heavy Metal or something.

I would say Frank Frazetta meets Full Throttle with a dash of Big Daddy Roth/Zombie style.

In reality it is it's own thing but draws on heavily on that imagery more than style.

That'll pay for MW2, since I'm definitely not YF360G-ing that one. Need it ASAP. Luckily, I have the Wednesday the game comes out off of school, so I can go get it at GS at midnight and play it. :D

Picked up Halo Wars and NFS: Shift with the last of my birthday money. It came down between those two and a 500GB drive with a docking station. I spent an hour walking around Best Buy trying to decide.
