Somebody at Trainn fucked up. Same thing happened here, of course, not on your level. I had ordered Mass Effect and Thursday, Nov. 29, it was shipped to me via overnight. So, this morning, I went out to my back door and there was another box from UPS (it had sat there all night from Friday). I opened it up and it was another Mass Effect that had shipped to me via 2nd day air. So, I got 2 Mass Effects and only ordered one. Both from Trainn!
LOL that's cool. I got 2 shipped e-mails yesterday for my CoD4 think that could mean I'll be getting two? That'd rock hahah.

I've got a quesiton that has probably been answered many times before, but I can't find a strait answer, so sorry in advance.

I ordered Guitar Hero II a few months ago by completing the blockbuster and gamefly offers. I cleared my account out for a new game and I see the offers are still on the list. Can I do those same offers again and will they be credited? I liked them because I knew they were legit services and easy online cancelation.

If not, does anyone know of any others with online cancelation? Thanks.

No, you can only do 1 offer, 1 time! This includes other sites you sign up for as well. So, since you have done blockbuster (for example), you can never do that site again and get credit.

How does the Yahoo one work? It seems really easy. Do I just sign up and then I can cancel after....what? There's no set timeline for that one.

Sorry if this has already been asked, but 140+ pages is a lot to look through...

Is there a master list with the offers, prices, cancellation #s, etc available somewhere?

Well, Im done...Still waiting on those MCR's

The only "master" is on the front page. If you need specific #'s, ask, and I'm sure those of us who have done the offer and know the number can help. Also, for specific offers, try using the "search this thread" option. It's real handy in large threads like this.
I'm still wondering about YSC. It seems too easy, like I just do it and BAM! it credits.
It works great (based on my experience). You could have crappy luck and get stuck filing for an MCR...
most of these auction success sites and such arnt allowing me to use a visa gc..weird
You are only allowed to do one of the auction sites per card.

The guy with the million GH3s at his house probably has one of mine there, haha. Trainn had better get their sh*t together. It's been almost 3 weeks since my item "shipped." Yes, now I have to use quotes whenever I mention their "shipping."
You are only allowed to do one of the auction sites per card.
yea i know, im trying to use diff. cards its still not working

Soo all you do is send in for the trial and.....that's it? As long as you cancel before it's over you don't get charged? Do I have to install any software?

Ugh, just checked my CC statements and I have Yahoo Success and Google SEO charging my account for monthly fees even thought I cancelled both of them. I already have disputes filed with my cc companies and have sent emails and calls to Trainn and Yahoo Success/Google (both are the same company). Anyone have this happen to them? Any advice?

I suggest when you call to cancel these accounts, call back a bit later to make sure it went though becasue it doesn't appear you can count on their CS reps to do their jobs... :bomb::wall:

ouch....sorry to hear that glockglock. Havne't been charged yet after I canceled...Did you get a confirmation # when you cancelled? I would give ysc/google a call and say you canceled, but still got charged. Also, did you cancel within the 14 days?
Question, when do I have to cancel Blockbuster Online before I am billed?
should be 30 days after you signed up....more info and other offers on the first page

well just to let you guys know, i've done

privacy matters
at home rewards
simply you
yahoo success center
quickbooks
zooba

and they've all credited same day. had to wait 30 mintues for one of of them, i think it was the zooba. but i had to file MCRs on

stamps.com
great fun
and the disney books.

still though, pretty sweet.

Yea, it was definitely within the 14 days. I actually keep pretty detailed records of everything but unfortunately left my stuff at work so I dont have it in front of me. Also you cant get anyone on the phone at that place on the weekend. Wish I would have checked on Friday so I could have taken care of it then.

Oh well, my cc company has been notified and I will call cust service tomorrow to see what they have to say. Everything should work out fine, just a little bit more of a pain in the ass than with most offers.
should be 30 days after you signed up....more info and other offers on the first page
Can I cancel after I submit to the site or do I have to wait the full 30 days?
is Stamps 15.95 or free???
They charge a 15.95 holding charge then they refund it back..

Same thing with zooba, after you cancel and DONT ORDER any books they refund you the monthly charge...

Except for overnight genius...You have to send back the package after you pay for shipping when you get it and then MAYBE they'll refund...or Charge you 78 dollars and screw you over.
Has Joe only gotten 2 guitar hero's?
yes but i also got screwed over from the overnight genius offer, for being 3 hours too late to cancel leaving me out 78 bucks....So its kind of a No Win situation.

My stamps.com wasn't $15.95 and i didnt have to order any stamps to get credit, it just went through after i installed. Think it was free or no more than $2.00.

But my GH3 has been shipping soon since Nov. 10th and estimated ship date of Nov. 14 does anyone know how backed up it is? Or get theres when they ordered withing the last month?

I have the same problem with Grant Mentor. Signed up way back in June, and canceled in June. Suddenly I get charged in September, and again in November. Both times I've attempted contacting the company (can't talk to anyone right away, you leave call back info, and they don't call back) and filed a dispute with the CC company. If after this second time it doesn't work, I don't know what to do other than cancel my CC. bullshit

i just signed up for at home rewards, and privacy matters...

can i cancel right away??? is there anything else i would have to possibly worry about?

i hope my orange box comes....

I'd wait until at least Monday or Tuesday to cancel, but cancel Your Savings Club right away.. that was auto signed up with either of those two you just signed up for..

Stamps charged me 15.95, but they said they only charged like $1 when I emailed them about it.

They may have had a typo or something and only realized it after enough people emailed them about the discrepency :p

Hey, Ive done YSC, At Home Rewards, and CompleteHome I think. Anyway, I ordered COD4 and its Processing. Has QuickBooks done well for anyone, and should I get Halo 3 or Mass Effect Next

If you're getting CoD4, then I say that's your fix for FPS, sold my Halo3 awhile back, it's just not as fun as CoD4, although the multiplayer system in Halo3 is the best..

if you're into RPGs then Mass Effect is great, I'm playing through it now, 10hrs in, doing mostly sidequests though.. heh yup.

I have no idea what game to get. So far i've ordered Assassins Creed, Mass Effect, GH3, GH2, The Orange Box, and Im waiting for 2 offers to credit and then I'll be able to order another. I don't really want to wait until March 08 when GTA 4 and R6V 2 come out. Until then I dont think theres really any games I want. Any suggestions?

I have a few more easy offers I can do, so make 2 game suggestions.

Still wondering....anyone?

Well, me being the idiot I am cancelled a day after when it says a minimum of 5. I was credited for both. Will they remove my credits and ban me.
Get another GH3, Sell on ebay for $130 net profit, buy both games when they come out in march.

Cheers,
Mike
thats a really good idea. The 360 bundles on ebay are only going for around $100 though. Plus, I don't really want to deal with Ebay and all the shipping crap. Im gonna think about it though, thanks for the suggestion

the bundles on ebay that include the wireless guitar are going for around $160 BIN. most of the auctions are for the bundles that came with the old xplorer wired guitar so you could make a good profit selling the wireless bundle on ebay especially since its in high demand right now.
