I think its borderline due to the cancellation information, however I'll allow it unless someone from Trainn here says otherwise and as long as nobody suggests to do offer A and mentions to cancel it on day X. Give the trials a shot if your interested in them.
I'll put a note in there stating that! I mean it's ONLY information about the offers, not really suggesting :)
Added two more.

Actually the Trial Duration is 28 days

Oh this is hot. Privacy Matters offer credited in like 5 minutes. As did At Home Rewards. Both charge $1 and then refund it. So I ACTUALLY got Halo 3 for free :D

So I ordered Eternal Sonata and Halo 3 in 1 day. This is so much fun :)
(I also asked them to order Eternal Sonata from EBgames or GS.com since it'll be with the pre-order faceplate.. lets see what happens!)

Doesn't the Privacy Matters offer also sign you up for that Saving Club Trial?

Edit: Signed Up for it just now and went green in less than 5 minutes. It also signs you up for that Savings Club, so this would be my second time signing up for that savings club as it did the same for the At Home Rewards offer.

lilboo can I get the cancellation number for Privacy Matters, forgot to write it down :whistle2:/
Doesn't the Privacy Matters offer also sign you up for that Saving Club Trial?
Yes it does. As does AtHomeRewards.

Very nice 2 offers. They credit very quickly. In the event you wish to not use their services..cancelation is automated on the phone. (As in you key the numbers). This is a very nice feature, so the company that does these offers.. :applause: to them!

ALSO!!!
I need to make something clear as I have signed up with one of their sites before (ShoppingEssentials). PLEASE READ THIS. If you have tried the service out, and do not wish to continue your membership--when you call to cancel you need to pay attention to everything. It is an automated phone service like I mentioned--But when you try to cancel, it tries to get you to buy a 1 year of service and will say "If you wish to cancel your monthly dues and pay the yearly anual fee of ____, please press 1 now" and then there is a LONG pause (at least 10 seconds) and then it'll say "..press 2 for other options". If you are TRULY looking to cancel, you would press 2 to cancel, to cancel it completely.

I really hope this helps, as I've read on forums before people getting charged the anual fee for pressing 1 because they heard "to cancel" "press 1"..and you can't dispute it because YOU chose it, lol

This is NOT a walkthrough to cancel. I am simply informing people who try out their service and no longer wish to use it. I am letting them know to listen carefully. I am not telling anyone to cancel their free trials.

(i had to, just to watch my back!)
lilboo can I get the cancellation number for Privacy Matters, forgot to write it down :whistle2:/
I don't have it either, LOL the confirmation e-mails take like an hour to arrive, but you'll get the e-mail and it will give you all the information about the company, service, and phone number.
Rig--Would it be ok to put the offers you have done in the OP?
Definitely. I figured any offers I haven't done could be added by others that have used the services. Should be adding a few more to my list in the next couple days (namely the offers you mentioned).

As far as links, I don't really have a preference, as long as we don't have the out of control posting that was the first thread (are many people even signing up these days?).

And thanks Tomo...I'll edit my stamps information!

I'd probably suggest a total redesign of the thread, including a new thread itself IMO .. this thread is 104 pages and getting a bit old, if you do overhaul the OP, you might want to go with a "Part III" and have the links setup where people confirm who they join under, on both ends, and you can go ahead with the conga that way. Also, make sure you put for people to PM you their ref links, so I can try to keep the conga thread clean of ref links .. if you see something that you think shouldn't be here, just hit the "!" button, or PM me, and I'll take care of it. That first thread was a mess, I wouldn't want this one or a possible 3rd thread to end up that messy, lol
Ugh I filed a missing credit thing MONTHS AND MONTHS ago for gamefly yet still nothing.
Really? Gamefly's MCR was really easy .. I went ahead and copied the full headers for them, and they got back to me on the MCR in under two weeks, I think it was closer to one.

Added yet another offer!

Hours: M-F 5:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM PST

According to the website, the hours I listed are their hours of operation. However, when you call the number, you are told their hours are: M-F 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM PST.

Another issue found is with the length of the trial. According to some print on the website, the trial is seven (7) days. But, in their Terms & Conditions section, the trial is ten (10) days. To be on the safe side, I would cancel no later than day seven of the trial. I'm sure you could raise hell by showing them their own Terms & Conditions section if you were charged before ten days.

If I signed up for At Home Rewards, Can I sign up for Pricacy Matters? I ask this since both of those sign you up for the Saving Club trial. If I am able to sign up for the Privacy Matters offer, does the Saving Club trial get extended or do I have to cancel twice?

I was able to sign up for both (and both already went green). I don't know about cancelling twice though, as I haven't cancelled either one yet.

Yes--and I believe you will only have to cancel once.

good lookin out guys..i decided to do privacy matters while i wait to request credit for AutoVantage..already went green...ordered Halo 3 ... thats game #5 from this site

For anyone who did the Zooba offer how long did it take to go green? Im either doing the Zooba or the Ultima Weight Loss one.

Edi: Decided to just go with Zooba. Now to see how long it takes to go green.

Just went green on Privacy Matters and Quick Books! Have to figure out what to get now. Has anyone picked up the Halo controller? Was it sealed with the action figure? I would never pay for it but for free it might not be a bad deal...

Also has anyone tried GreatFun, Rising Star, Green Tea or Reunion? Those all look pretty simple.

Reunion requires you to be a paying member. IIRC, it's kind of expensive, so if you're not actually interested, NOT worth it.

just tried doing zoeta and it wouldnt work

i clicked submit like 2 or 3 times but i kept getting escure or w/e says address and zip code dont match up, i go check and theyre right i didnt get charged though did i :cold:
Hmm.. So far it's taken 2 days for my account to finsh being reviewed.... How long did it take everyone else?
Usually it's like 2 days. Sometimes less. But my most recent account approval took 4 days!! :bomb:

nice. i see they added a few new offers to the site. but honestly it doesnt make sense for me to do them right now as i dont have an xbox 360 but then again free is free. maybe il get nba live

i never got an email for my new savings club account (the one you get automatically when you sign up for at home rewards and privacy matters). Hopefully they didnt make that account since i cancelled like 2 days ago with at home rewards and signed up last night again with privacy matters...we'll see i guess

I believe that you only joined once. Because when you call to cancel, it will say "Your account has been canceled" because it would have used the same CC # or same phone number with that account.

You should be fine.

Does anyone know when they ship out games that have not been released yet? Was thinking of putting in for Halo 3 but dont really want to wait an extra week for it. Do they normally ship on release day or to arrive on release day or is it pretty much pot luck?

Anyone have any experience with ordering games before release dates? Thanks!

I'll keep you posted. I ordered Halo 3 last night from them. It has a "Ship Date" of September 20 (my birthday, YAY!) but that means it should be ordered by then. They will most likely ship from Amazon, and then if Amazon gets the order before launch..AND..if they have enough copies for the initial shipment..then we should get ours a few days after launch.

Like I said, I'll keep you posted on what happens with my order. I currently have Eternal Sonata And Halo 3 on pre-order. E.S. comes out this Tuesday, though.

nvm anyway i preordered madden like 2 weeks before it came out and got it like a week after the release date.

As soon as my gamefly goes through, I should be getting Halo 3 as well. Can't wait.

OP has been updated with Rig's offers and I added a Q&A.
I left those links in there for now. I don't even know who they belong to.

I am open to suggestions as to what to do with them, let me know.
Also, if there are more questions that needed to be added.. let me know too!

Thanks!

I got 3 items, and ended up having to cancel my Credit Card because I started getting pounded with fees, after I would cancel with these people. Get your shit, then cancel your CC. That would be my advice.

Was going to say the same thing.
What offer(s) were consistently charging you..??

Hey lilboo, about how long does it take to get a game to your house?

I'm asking because I live close to New Jersey (if you couldn't tell by my name ;) ) so It would be around the same time. I'm going to finish my second offer for NHL 08 soon, probably within the hour. I'm hoping somewhere between Thursday and Saturday.

Depends where trainn orders. Amazon is the typical choice..and they are usually good wherever you live. Once the item states it shipped, I have it USUALLY no later then a week.

So what part of NJ or close to NJ are ya?

Anyway there is a company who runs offers such as AtHomeRewards and Privacy Matters. Actually you are signing up for PrivacyMatters1-2-3. They have ANOTHER company called PrivacyMatters. They also have offers such as ValueMaxx, Today's Escapes, and Shopping Essentials. Simply You is ALSO another offer on the site that's run by the same company.

Last time these offers were around, they paired you up with a company called "Savings Smart". Now that secondary partner has changed (It might be the same partner, just a different name!) Anyway--all of these offers are canceled the same way..and they always seem to credit you.

I do hope they add the others to the site...ooh that would be great!

Uhh..yeah, you guys not paying attention on the phone deserve what you get. I was relieved to find out the cancellation was automated, rather than having some phone jockey keep saying "But I can give you..." If you get tricked by a machine, you're an idiot. The first option clearly states "We can cancel your monthly fees and offer you a year of membership for only $19.99! If you'd like to cancel your monthly fees, but keep your membership, press 1". Then there's a few seconds of silence to make douches who don't listen panic, then it says "For other options, press 2". If you fall for that trick, you just suck, lol. Sorry.

What offers did you do? Did you even cancel?
This is making me worried...

I cancelled Your Savings Club today and had no "yearly payment" option anywhere in there. Either that's with one (or both) of the other two services, or they changed their system.

Either way, it is now cancelled, as I called back to try and put my member number in, and it tells me I'm cancelled.

Just cancelled Your Savings Club, Privacy Matters, and At Home Rewards. The Privacy Matters and At Home Rewards are the only ones that asked me to press 1 and cancel my trial but renew it for $19.99, so they try and catch you with that, so like lilboo said just listen carefully to the options.
can someone answer my question? which offers allow you to cancel online?
Not many. Go back and read the offers I posted.

How exactly is the At Home Rewards cancellation proccess key automated as I read earlier? I'm guessing you have to type in your CC number on the phone keypad?

Never have done anything like that before. I've only done the stamps.com offer, despite signing up back in May. That was really easy to cancel, I did think about keeping it but decided I don't ship out enough packages to make it worth it.

You either type in your membership number, your credit card number, or your home phone number.

Sounds good, thanks. I'll just type in whatever is shortest :)

Didn't get membership number yet, but that might be the shortest one.

Yes, At Home Rewards went through!

Now I don't have to go through that MCR bullshit for 2 months like I did for stamps/

Finally, NHL 08, you'll be mine next week :)
blockbuster is taking longer then expected to credit me :( i even paid for that one o_0 10 bucks :(
When did you sign up? Took 2 days for mines to go through.

Can't decide if I should hold off on offers or not. I'd like to use them towards GH3/Rock band due to their higher price, but it depends on if they decide to stock them or not. In addition, offers may be taken off(as in the case of GE critics choice). Hopefully they stay put.

You can do the offers now, and not place an order. Wait till they add them, if they don't, get a game that you want instead, or MS points. At least, that's how I'm thinking it works.

I wish I did that with GE critics choice.
