To receive credit for this offer you must register for the trial. thats what it says and I signed up but there was no trial it just automatically signed me up for a month.
read what i posted to you on the last page ;)

A bit of a warning to others:

I signed up for the Critics Choice program, and cancelled within the trial (8/7). I see I was charged for this month (September).

I just called them, and the representative lives incredibly close to me! (Three or so towns away!) He was exceptionally nice, and quickly refunded the mistake.

So, I guess, just watch your statements. Or live eerily close to where the representative does!

I just got a refund check from critics choice for my original $2.74 . Great now I have to make a trip to the bank to cash a check for less then $3.00 LOL

I would suggest Zooba (Book Club) and one of the many auction tools (Google, or eAuction, etc.).

for zooba i see its $9.95 per book that you check out or what? do you HAVE to check out book or can you avoid the $9.95? also how is the cancellation process?

for the auction tools for example google...its a kit that they send you in the mail right? you just pay shipping? its not a trial? also how is the cancellation process?

sorry for all the questions...just wanna get all my stuff straight before i do these.

can you tell me exactly how these work? are they trials or what...how is the cancellation process?

sorry for asking so many questions i just wanna make sure ive got everything straight before i do these.

I wish they would add relevant offers, more like gamefly and/or blockbuster, something normal people would use.

Like a magazine sub., roll of toilet paper, toothpaste, something I can get use out of.

Hi Guys,

Checking back in to say I just got my second Guitar Hero II Bundle (that was fast, like 3 days!) and am now ready to return for credit.

I know it's been mentioned in this thread previously, but we're now at nearly 100 pages and that's pretty daunting. Can anyone who's done this already recap for me what exactly I need to do to return the GHII for full credit?

Thnx

Im not exactly a veteran poster here ( signed up a month ago) But seriously dont you think asking to get 50 referrals with like your first post is a little extreme expectaion?

hey quick question...which of the auction tool offers (google, eauctions, quickbooks, increase my margain etc) are the same company? i remember reading that you cant use the same credit card on 2 certain ones...i did quickbooks so which other one can i still get credit on with the same credit card?

Quickbooks, Google, eAuctions, and Increase My Margin are the same company IIRC. You need to use a different credit card for each of those offers.

I'm trying to file for a missing credit, but it wants the e-mail headers, do I need to include ALL the headers? Thunderbird won't let me copy/paste them and there is a TON of them.

oh damn...that sucks i dont have 2 cc's.

what about zooba how does that work?

Yeah, you have to include all of them. I know it sucks, I use Thunderbird as well. You can copy each line one by one, but you have to write the description in front of it for each line manually. It's tedious, but it shouldn't take you too much time. Just think of the game you'll be getting and that might pass the boredom. Hehe.
oh damn...that sucks i dont have 2 cc's.

what about zooba how does that work?
Zooba is a book club. You sign up, they take $9.95 of your money, and then you should cancel before ordering any of the books. Thank God you can cancel online. I am tired of calling these companies and being put on hold. Some folks said that they have been refunded for this deal, others are still waiting. I signed up myself, but I haven't cancelled yet. In the end, it's only $9.95 and you received a green for it.
how soon after signing up for zooba should i cancel? just within a month?

sorry for all the questions.
After you go green and they ship your prize.

Cleaned up the thread from spam / related post(s) .. just because you cannot post your own thread, do not spam others, thanks. Don't hesitate if you see something you think might be spam, hit the "!" button and we'll take care of it.
Read the order slip that came with the box. It'll say on there.
Wasn't there a particular reason you have to give in the return form to assure full credit? If I recall, I think you were supposed to say it was for the wrong system or something.

Wrong system would work once, then you could try saying you were waiting for a different guitar rhythm game and want the credit, etc etc etc. I wouldn't repeat the excuses.
i need a free offer. please help. does zooba refund your money when you cancel?
In all honesty if you cant afford the $3 - $10 it takes to do an offer you shouldnt be messing with the site. What are you going to do if you dont get something cancelled in time and they bill you?
is columbia dvds a good one?
Not if you want cheap. Colimbia house is a contract. I dont know the specifics but you will probably have to buy 3-5 dvds at their regular price to fufill your contract within a year or 2 . Try GE critics . I think it cost me $2.74 for the trial and they mailed me a check back for that amount when I canceled.

By the time you add up the DVDs you get with your initial batch and the four you buy over 2 years, it's not too bad. You also get 'buy one, get one free' deals like this past week where the first DVD still counts against your obligation.

I've joined Columbia House three different times now over the last five years. Altogether, my average DVD prices end up being around $8-$9 a piece, altogether. I used it to build up my DVD collection early on and now joined it again with YF360G.

i was a columbia house member back when it was for cds (theyve sinced merged[maybe bought out?] the cd program with bmg). i was a bmg cd member last year and the requirement is buy 1 cd @ member price (18.99) and you can cancel. altogether it probably comes out to like 100 or so cause they get u with shipping

^ I think around 2 hours...

Has anyone received a refund from Zooba recently? I cancelled on Aug 30 with no sign of a refund yet.

I noticed there were new offers put up so i did At Home Rewards and AutoVantage just now. At How Rewards already went green and since i think its the same company for both im sure AutoVantage will go green in a few minutes....gotta get me some halo 3

Do they charge you anything for both?

At Home Rewards is a free 7-day trial. They charge and refund your CC $1 to make sure it works. I'd be weary of this offer though. I signed up for it under gaminglagoon and cancelled easily enough, but I started getting monthly $1 charges from something called savingsmart.com at the same time. I still don't know how ss.com got my info, maybe I missed the fine print about them enrolling me in this other program? Anyway, I found them on ripoffreport.com and promptly called my CC company about the unauthorized charges and got a new card.

I guess sign up if you need a cheap offer to do, but read all the fine print and pay close attention to your CC statements.
