Yes, I'm serious. Just checked with Nintendo and it appears mine should be delivered on the 6th, though made it from WA to ID in one day. Might get here Monday of next week.
 
i don't think they're sending out hands anymore :(

i clicked "give me a hand" and it brings you to a page where you can download a PDF of a hand... weak

Don't have a mannequin hand laying around to use in your pictures and videos? We had a couple thousand ourselves, but you guys cleaned us out! We'll see if we can get more, but in the meantime...

You don't need to start tearing the hands off the poor mannequins at your local department store, there's a much better way to get yourself a hand.

Just click on the icon below to download your very own digital hand. Then all you have to do is print it, cut it out, and start touching.

Maybe its some weird promotion like thye did with Metroid 2 and Monster.com...

i actually plan on entering a video into this contest, and they're out of hands, so if anyone doesn't actually need one i'll pay you shipping plus a bit extra to get ahold of one. i don't imagine it's the easiest thing to find otherwise.

Not really. If I wanted to hoard, I could use my school address, my home address, my 911 address, my sisters addy, etc. It really wouldn't be too hard, and I bet you money some on here got a couple of them...

It's a plain white mannequin hand (thought for some reason, mine has stains on it...) that came in a plastic bag with a paper tag stating what you can do with the hand, in relation to the contest.
 
don't be expecting posable, perfectly white, ds logo imprinted hands. these are just hands that were pried from old mannequins that had most likely been junked.

can't wait til mine comes on the 5th.
 
I got mine today. Knowing what it was I told my girlfriend to go ahead and open it. She then said OMFGWTFYWFIWWYOTYCAH! I got a good laugh out of it.

Anyone get a "backordered" status for these hands? That's what it says under my orders profile on Nintendo.com. Funny thing is I placed the order for it almost immediately after this thread was posted.

Why because you didn't get the paper tag? There should be one in there, mine was wedged under one of the tabs on the bottom of the box.

If that's not why, I don't know how you can get gypped, it was free.
