Not sure if this is the correct forum but you can get the Metroid Prime 2 demo disc if you subscribe to Nintendo Power, or register 5 games plus your Nintendo Gamecube. Alternatively, you can get the demo disc by buying the Nintendo Gamecube Metroid Prime package for $99.99, which includes Metroid Prime plus the bonus disc that contains the MP2 demo, two trailers, gallery and a history of the Metroid series.

Anyone want to share a couple of registration codes?

Cool. I just had to register my Four Swords Adventure to push my games up to 5. Nice bonus that they're supposed to start shipping them 6 days before my birthday. Maybe it'll show up on my birthday. :) Thanks for the deal!

those five games that i got for the zelda thing a while ago, accepted again, so i reserved my copy!

Yes, you can "double-dip". I registered three games for Zelda before X-mas. I've since then registered at least 3 more. I found the section and clicked on the link, since I already had the games registered all I had to do was press a button to confirm I want one!!!

All you have to do is go nintendo.com and log into your account. If you don't have one, they're free. Just like alot of boards (such as this fine one!) . Then, find the link for the promotion. It should be easy, they have banners everywhere.

I have a code that I am willing to give away, it is for Mario Kart DD. I really dont care about a Metroid 2 promotion because I am going to get the game. First person to PM me other than zewone(I already gave you a code) can have it.

I had exactly 5, so all is good. Muahaha! If you know anyone that works at a blockbuster, ask them. They get to take the registration cards from the games they unwrap.

If anyone has a single extra code they wouldn't mind tossing my way (that isn't Mario Kart, Zero Mission, Mario and Luigi, or Mario vs Donkey Kong), please feel free to PM it to me out of the kindness of your heart. ;-)

If someone has extra codes, aside from Mario Kart, Mario & Luigi, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, or Mario Party 5... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PM ME THEM!!

I only need one code now...

is nintendo INSANE?!

5 games? thats stupid. it should take 1 game, it just a freakin demo, it should be free!!! its advertising! it spreads word of mouth. i will not give in to this crap.

If anyone has an extra code aside from Mario Kart, Metroid Zero Mission, Zelda 4 Swords, and Mario and Luigi, and they'd like to be the coolest person ever, please PM me a code.

Thanks!!

The box art for the bundle looks sweet, too bad I don't need a 2nd cube.

Must. consume..

No really, I need a second cube. I think I also might consider purchasing this. I was waiting for an eventual price drop at the end of the lifespan of the system, but.... pretty box art, Metroid Prime bonus disc.. platinum cube (mine's black, need a change of scenery) might be enough.

My girlfriend's been stealing my cube and -I- want to play ToS!

Very nice boxart... now I'm upset because I only need one more code. :(

1. Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
2. Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
3. Mario vs. Donkey Kong
4. Mario Party 5

Someone really needs to help meeee! :(

I want the disk, but not enough to pay $20 for a Nintendo Power subscription. I shoulda subscribed last year and gotten the LoZ: Collector's Edition, but didn't even get that.

anybody, PM me with a code that isn't
Mario and Luigi superstar saga
1080 avalanche
Wario Ware mega party game$
Mario kart Double dash

any help is greatly appreciated
Does anyone else feel registering games makes them less collectible? Almost like personalized autographs.
I don't get that impression.

Damn...I thought I had 5 games, but one never game with my 1080 and my brother got Mario Golf pre-owned.

If anyone would be kind enough to lend me a code, it'd be greatly appreciated.

I can't log in, damn it   ??? Can anyone help me out here?? I put my e-mail adress so they can send me the username and password but when I write down the e-mail it says something like "this user doesn't have an active profile" and I'm very mad indeed. I even receive the newsletter WTF's wrong???

I feel your pain, I also, like expressed many times, just need ONE FINAL code, that isn't from Mario vs. DK, Mario Party 5, Mario & Luigi, or Mario Kart: DD, I'll ask again because I'm nice and anxious... if anyone has a spare code that isn't from those above games, please please PLEASE PM THEM TO ME!

It's because you touch yourself at night...
Don't post your question twice in that short of a time period, its f'n annoying.

Wtf are people COMPLAINING about the demo?

Its a REWARD for people who enjoy Nintendo games and continue to support the Big N.

And you people begging for codes, if you only need ONE MORE, just go buy another excellent Nintendo game for $20 (like Mario Golf for GBA, $20 after GGC @ BB this week) instead of begging those of us who DO buy them to just give them to you.

This is why I am complaining.

Companies like Sony give out demos of their upcoming games for free to Playstation Underground members yet when Nintendo gives away a demo, they make you register 5 games?! I could maybe see having to register 1 game and even that seems excessive but having to register 5 games for a demo is a disgrace.

I don't think that if someone doesn't buy 5 games they should have to subscribe to Nintendo Power for close to $20 to get the demo either.

What I don't like is how Nintendo is either forcing someone to buy a lot of games or subscribe to a magazine to get something that IMO should be free or very inexpensive.

I didn't mind when Nintendo required everyone to register 2 games for the Zelda disc because that was a set of full games but for a demo of a game, it seems like they are asking too much for such a little reward.

im with YoshiFan1. why should we have to buy 5 of their games.......and they have to be certain games.......(in other words......the most expensive ones) to get a demo PROMTOTING one of their upcomming games.......i like nintendo games, but this is crazy what they are making us do to get JUST a demo!

It's not just "the most expensive ones" - it's Nintendo published titles dude, as far as I can tell. Has nothing to do with them trying to rip you a new one. It's a lot like Club Nintendo (sort of) in Japan except they get better rewards.

said the man who collected 550 dew u points

^^

yea.....we get a demo disk full of ten exciting minutes of unfinished videos and 2 minutes of gameplay where you get to learn how to turn into a ball........

so they might not be the most expensive games........they are asking too much for one simple demo disk......im not saying that i wouldn't want it.......im just saying that i dont think they should ask sooo much for this kind of thing........

Let's take a quick look at how easy it is to get demos for new games!!! Shall we?

the ps2 gives free underground cds through the mail!

xbox games come preloaded with demos and videos of games!

gamecube, you can buy 5 games and a gamecube to get a demo!!!???????????(wait a fucking sec)......................

i think you get my picture now! and its not that i dont like nintendo........i got a gamecube within the first year of it being out cause i love nintendo games.......but this is just kind of pathetic.........

if the demo is anything like the one i saw at san diego's comic-con, i can say that the demo will be very sweet. i'm not sure if its really short or not, but i saw this one guy playing it for about an hour..

Quick question, I have enough game codes to get the free demo, but if I register them, are they essentially wasted? As in if they do another Zelda CE type promotion will the codes I used not be valid anymore? Or do they carry over for all give aways like this?

punqsux- hmm....i guess i do see what ur saying.......but you cant really compare a demo disk to an xbox......but i guess it is kind of ironic.................well i guess there is only one thing to do now.........drink myself to sleep! (thumbs up!)

hehe im just saying buying 5 cube games for a demo is crazy, as is buying 600$ worth of dew. they are both insane promotions.

i know you didnt buy the dew.
