Free overnight shipping for spiderman 3 @ gamestop.com

Pretty damn sure they charge tax no matter where you are. So basically youre better off just going to any store and buying it.
hm...do they charge sales tax in CA? it only saves me about $5 but, $5 is $5 and it saves me a trip to the store.
Yes, they charge tax. Nearly all online sites with a B&M in your state charges tax.

It's interesting that they're giving away these free movie posters. I'm sure that most would just rather have $5 off, which should cover the cost of the posters + shipping them.

Unless you're a megageek for Spider-Man, I'd really recommend waiting until this game can be had for $40 or less on 360/PS3, $30 elsewhere. Something tells me that it's just not going to be very good (and I'm starting to wonder about the movie) and that you'll be able to score it fairly cheaply (albeit used) a month from now. Call it...my 'Gamer Sense'.

I preordered it from Best Buy since they had double RZ points with it. My son is a major SpiderMan fan so for me it's worth the extra $20. I saw some vids last night on IGN and the game actually looks pretty sweet, more so than some of the earlier gameplay videos I've watched in the past.

My only hope is that it's not fluffed with a bunch of "go beat up these 5 gang members" missions similar to Ultimate Spider Man; I'd rather have missions that have you sneaking around or beating guys for a purpose ... something that the Spidey developers seem to have a hard time with.

PS3 gets the Spinal Tap Box Art Award for:
"Having a cover that is more black than the other editions of the game"

I mean right there his suit can get none more black.

if its anything like spider man 2 i would be down for buying it at full price. that game was one of my favorite games from that year (even tho it was short and i beat it the same day i got it).

i hate the direction they took with USM, dumbing down the swinging (which was the best part of 2), the missions (even more so than the second one), and the combat.

how is this game being received? i thought spiderman 2 was okay... i'm a little weary on how this one is gonna play.

They say they've made a point to remedy the monotonous side missions, but...they say a lot of things.

Huzzah for MSRP! And i agree to the posts above, i will be picking this game up for sure but when the PS3 version drops a bit.
