Got my Fonera today. The only wireless device I have, other than my work laptop which is at work, is my Wii. Has anyone successfully set it up using only the Wii? I can see the private network but it won't transfer any data.
Once I get it working I'll certainly share some invites if I have them.

"Connect your wifi router directly to your cable/dsl modem, connect your wii via the my_place access point. When you connect it'll ask you for the serial key on the bottom of your router, input and wii-on!"
I've got the Fonera hooked into the 'uplink' port of my wired router, which is in turn connected to the cable modem. Does the uplink work for that, or do I need to use one of the other ports, or will this not work like this?
I did a little search on the uplink port on a router because I've always wondered about that too. From what I read I think its for connecting a router to another router but I could be mistaken, however it did say this
"The Uplink feature is often implemented by a shared port, meaning one port with two different jacks (usually next to each other). Note that you should never plug something into both the normal and shared uplink port at the same time in such devices !"
Anywho, I'm not 100 percent certain how well it works when stacked with another router, I didn't have time to fiddle with it and all I did to get my Wii online was unplug my current wired router and plug in my Fonero directly to my cable modem. If your cable modem is a modem/router hybid you may have to fuss with some settings but mine is just a modem so after it refigured out the IP/MAC address it projected the private and public signals and my Wii found it when searching. It worked straight from that (after entering the serial key)
