Hello all. I'm not sure if this been asked and answered before, I'd imagine so, but I did look around the pages a bit (obviously not all 111) and didn't see an answer.
I'm brand new to these type of sites and just having a bit of trouble figuring out in stamps.com what to do. I know I have to print free postage but I'm not sure exactly how to do that. I go to print stamps but it needs a serial number so I figured I needed to buy netstamps first. Including shipping, the photo ones came to more than $5 so I went with the themed netstamps which are 4.99 and qualify for free shipping. However, when I go to checkout, the order summary still charges me 3.07 for shipping for a total of 8.06. Will this automatically reduct from my postage palance of 5.00 or will it use my credit card? And how do I make sure shipping is free like it's supposed to be apparently? Finally, is this what I'm supposed to be doing in the first place in order to complete this order or is their an easier way altogether? This is definetly one of the trickier offers so far (probably because it's free).
Also, I heard paypal virtual credit cards were recommended by many people for various reasons. Where do you find these though? I checked the site all over and only found plus and debit cards.
You do not have to print postage out. As long as you install and run the program, you should be good.
Granted, you may have to fill out a MCR for the offer, but you would still likely have to do that even when printing out postage.
For the record, I don't think the process you are describing is the way to print out the postage. You definitely should not be adding further charges to the account to print.
