Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)
The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago with a points card. They said it was a mix-up with Amazon and sent a new one.
I just got an update, they said they would look into it further. In the meantime they are shipping a replacement on Monday. So everything is cool now.
So whats the word on returns lately, theres nothing I really want for quite some time so I'm thinking of just grabbing a game and returning it for credit to use on Mario Kart.
Anyone? Thank you.
Anyone? Thank you.
I returned a game about a week ago to Amazon and it worked just fine. Takes time, though. Make sure you return it as a gift recipient, not giver.

It only took a week for your account to be credited for the return? I've been waiting almost 2 weeks, and the CS rep. told me it could take up to 4 weeks for the item to be processed, and for me to receive my credit.

Anyone have any good music recommendations from eMusic? I swear I haven't heard of any of these groups on here. Then again I haven't looked that hard, but I have 80 free MP3s which I need to take advantage of before the end of the week. Any suggestions?

Also I'm still waiting on my MCR for Amazing Web Stores...

anyone here remember how Scholastic Word Advantage works? i did the offer thru mega and apparently i was supposed to cancel in the first 24 hours, which i didnt.

i call them once and am told the trial doesnt start til i receive the package and once i do i can return it to sender and get my money back.

i call today and am told theyve already charged me and that i need to return the package to sender. it'll take 4 to 5 weeks to get my money back.

so whats the deal. how have your orders been handled?

also, holy crap at trainns service these days. i ordered a 12 month trial saturday night and it arrived today, monday.

I know it's not music, but the comedy section is pretty good. I got Demetri Martin's album there.

Anybody get credit for GotVoice recently? My MCR is on the 15th business day.

Can 12 months really be considered a trial? :)

I just received my First Club Save e-mail today when I signed up on last Sunday and canceled Friday! Thanks anyway, max pl :).

Sorry, I should have been more clear. It did take longer than a week, I just received the credit a week ago. It was ~ 2.5 weeks, IIRC. So, yeah, it'll take some time but it does work. But they do say it could potentially take a month, I guess to give themselves some breathing space if it gets really busy.

oh sorry. i meant 12 month xbox live subscription.

I do hope GH:Aerosmith pops up early next month.

Munch, how much is the shipping and processing fee? They'll refund it to you if you cancel within 10 days. So, this essentially is a free credit?
That's the way I'm reading, though you have to ship it back. The processing fee is $6.95.
Sweet. I'll have another look at this one when I get home.
I think the Pixies are on eMusic, you can't really go wrong with Doolittle.
Good call, picked that up and realized they had Anti-Flag on here so I should be able to use the rest of my downloads. Pittsburgh Punk Rock FTW!

edit: actually they have a lot of decent stuff on here, glad I finally took some time to look.

Aww, I was hoping for a GH Aerosmith bundle this month. Guess it'll happen next month. Well, I hope it's a bundle, as it's the only way I'll get the game.

Still no credit for, ironically, the credit check offer. One support ticket and one credit request later, no response. The site seems to have gone downhill with their customer service lately.

EDIT: Just noticed the SPAM above. Nice.
^^ I'm hoping for later this month.
Gotvoice still hasn't credited. Sent MCR on the 25th.
I sent my MCR for Gotvoice the same day. Still no credit. I'm in no rush but it would be nice to just get my GTA and quit until more offers show up.

Yea, I'm waiting to use mine on GHA. So I really don't care about it until then. Plus, this is probably a good thing, because I'll probably be tempted to use the credit when I get it. Also, STILL no credit.

Wait, so you paid $6.95 in shipping, correct? Maybe im not understanding, so I just want to clarify: is that refundable? It's for 1 credit on both free360 and megafreebie, but 7 bucks can be a little steep for 1 cred...

Supposed to be refundable. Good luck getting them to give you your money back, though.:) I'll probably try the offer, and just be prepared to make a few angry phone calls to get my refund.

I just canceled my video professor account. Very easy and they said they would refund all of the money if you send all of the stuff back within 10 days of receiving it. So, I'm going to hold them to that.

Pre-paid shipping for the return?
Pre-paid shipping for the return?
I'm just going to write Return to Sender on it. I might do media mail and track it just to play it safe. I don't know which yet.
I'm just going to write Return to Sender on it. I might do media mail and track it just to play it safe. I don't know which yet.
Yeah, I'd prolly do delivery confirmation, just to be safe.

I did a "return to sender" on a game from gamefly that they had sent me by mistake and they never got it back, so sending it with tracking is probably a good idea.

I have a question about the site. I currently have two offers complete and waiting for GH aerosmith to be added to the site. However, I was wondering if I can continue to do offers I like. Would having 3 or 4 offers without ordering work or will it not acknowledge the new offers because I can order a game already.

Thanks

Alright, i ordered guitar hero. I told them i never received it, so they gave me a tracking number and told me it was delivered. The problem is i live in michigan and the tracking number said it was delivered to New Jersey. I told them 3 days ago and i have got no response. Any suggestions on what to do?

Yes, you can stockpile credits.

A similar thing happened to me. Just make sure to open up a service request and if they close it (e.g., they tell you it was delivered), open up another one and keep bugging them about it.

For me, GH3 never came because it was out of stock at Amazon. After much harassing by me, they sent me a $100 gift card for Amazon, which I used on my PS3.

Just be proactive about getting your games and they'll be accommodating.

Not you ... there was a spam post above me! :)

I got my first games!!!:bouncy:
GTA 4 yesterday & Guitar Hero 3 today.
Mass Effect from megafreebie should be here by friday.
THANKS to the OP & everyone else for making this awesome thread with all the info.

I just got COD4 in the mail today after completing my deals on monday. Thanks for the heads up and all the help!

Why is that I have 5 different credit cards and have done many offers (I've received 10 games to date) but can never do any of these stupid offers (quickstart, yahoo success, amazing web stores, etc.) since there from the same crappy company who online payment sucks....All my cards get declined despite putting all the correct info...has this happen to anyone else??

You have to use a different card for every different offer they have up
You have to use a different card for every different offer they have up
I know that, thing is,I have NEVER done any single offer from them,EVER...which means at least the first one should go through...Every time I try with a credit/debit card of mine it never works despite the fact I never used these ccs on any of their offers before. Its very frustrating since I have 3 offers I could do from that company with 5 ccs that have yet to be used there but all get declined...

has anyone done identity sweep? I don't see a full terms & conditions. Don't want to submit credit card w/out knowing exactly how i can cancel..
anyone tried signing up with eMusic lately? I tried 3 times and each time I got an error page.
