Free Xbox 360 Games (from Trainn...who is updating slowly)

Pain Vanish is back... ahhh was able to green another TraInn site. :D

Just want to say, it took about 7 hours and I got credit, nothing shady in the T&C or anything, haven't heard anything bad about the offer either. A note though, they don't accept debit cards, just credit cards. Just letting everyone know in case someone is considering doing it.

Oh, and it costs like $10. They charge you the $10 a week after you order, when they ship it. You've got to return the unused portion as well. So add on like $5.

Still waiting for ID watchdog to credit on youripodtouch though. :( Guess I'll have to wait and put in an MCR.
I hope you guys get your Tri-Slim issues worked out. I now find myself in a different situation...

I completed 2 offers and submitted an order for 4000 microsoft points. Apparently yourfree360games now uses Amazon's new game download code service, so I received the 4000 point code via email, directly from Amazon.com

Well, I tried to redeem the code, and received an error message that the code had already been redeemed. I called Amazon and they said that I would need to contact Microsoft since Amazon just sells them for MS. I called Microsoft, got a reference number, but eventually was told that I would need to contact Amazon directly, put me on hold, and gave me a reference number to give to Amazon supposedly. I called Amazon back and this person seemed more helpful, but ultimately could not even disscuss the order number, as it was not my account that purchased the points, but yourfree360games.

So I guess I have to call Microsoft back again and ask to speak to someone higher up to get my points replaced. I hope it doesn't come down to trying to get yourfree360games to contact Amazon for support on their order.
It has come to that. I contacted yourfree360games yesterday, because Amazon and Microsoft could not help me.
Just put in a MCR for ID Watchdog.
I know some people who got instant credit for ID watchdog, you just have to keep the service for 21 days to keep the credit, otherwise it'll probably be revoked.

I know how it works, I just know that in the MCR requirements it asks if you have been a member for 21 days. So they can deny you credit for not fulfilling what they say are the requirements.

just got a response from corperate...he claims i have been refunded in full but still says i was informed about colo cure when signing up.

Thanks for your email and feedback. We have refunded your charges in full for Colocure. Here is the link where you signed up for TriSlim. Under at the bottom of the page are the terms which you agreed to. If you have any other questions, pleas let us know.
https://secure.trislimfree.com/page/payment#none

we'll see how long it takes to get my money back.

I got a fairly similar response, although I thought this was weird:

We have refunded the restocking fee along with the 4.95 colocure shipping fee. We cannot refund the 4.95 shipping and handling trial charge.

Not sure what he's getting at here. Aren't those the same thing? Either that or there was supposed to be an original trial charge that I was never actually charged since I never, you know, agreed the trial.

Either way, a refund of the 44.95 and the 4.95 should cover it if I actually receive them.

Well i decided to go through my bank and they closed the card.I'm gonna send back this pills with and freindly letter stating they can go to hell.

that is a weird response. not sure what he meant. im hoping i get the full amount of 49.95 + 4.95 refunded but we'll see.

The link isn't working. Copy/paste it so I can read it? Thanks.

When I spoke to the CS rep about the refund I was told the maximum wait is 7 business days. If you haven't seen the refund post to your account within that time frame I would pursue it.

Ordered a 4000 point card earlier today and got the email tonight with a code. Luckily, the code worked, so the nonworking code issue seems pretty isolated. Good! I was worried for a bit there.

Anyway, I like this new deal. I won't be ordering a lot of point cards (they're good for the spring drought, at least), but it sure is a nice option.

i got a refund credit of 44.95 on my statement. not the full amount like i was told from the corporate email....

edit: well well well...i just tried sending another email to corporate about the remaining $10 and got the email returned with

"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently"

theyve obviously deleted the email due to the high volume of complaints theyve received. fuck this shit, how do i go about reporting to the bbb? ive never done it before.

Okay, listen, I am ~extremely~ sympathetic with all you people who have been struggling with this offer, and my post should not in any way be taken as a put-down of that struggle. I've had my share of frustrating consumer experiences over the years. That being said, after seeing dozens of comments and threats about using the BBB, I felt that I needed to step in and correct some serious misunderstandings before you all waste your time contacting the BBB.

The BBB is not a government agency nor a legal advocacy group, and as such it can NOT make a company fix a problem or punish a company for failing to correct a problem--it simply has no power whatsoever to do so. It is not some mythic entity that is going to destroy this vile corporation. On the contrary, the BBB is merely a reputational organization. Some firms do indeed seek membership (called accreditation in their terminology) with the BBB, whereby they agree to certain base standards of conduct and to remedy complaints. But even then, the only 'punishment' that the BBB possesses is to remove their membership status.

Most major corporations feel it is prudent for PR reasons to be a member, but then again, such major corporations are also the type that value their reputation very highly in the first place and would be remedying these problems anyway. But the ~vast~ majority of small and mid-size firms in America never waste their time with getting accredited--so few consumers actually look up companies in the BBB's database (did any of you look up this firm prior to dealing with them? If you had, you would have noticed that they already have a "F" rating with the BBB), and even fewer change their mind based on that information, that there is only an extremely small benefit for BBB compliance for many small and mid size firms. That benefit is easily outweighed for many firms due to the materially high cost of compliance.

Allow me to also quote something from the BBB's own website:

"I filed a complaint with the BBB. The business has not responded. Why can't the BBB make a business satisfy my complaint?

When a BBB receives a complaint, we present the complaint to the business and request its assistance in working out the problem with the unhappy customer. Most businesses are grateful for the opportunity to resolve problems with their customers since it often means their patronage will be preserved.

BBB accredited businesses agree to respond to consumer complaints presented by the BBB, and lose their accredited business status if they do not. Most other businesses, regardless of whether they are BBB accredited businesses, also cooperate with the BBB.

However, some businesses do not want to work with the BBB and/or their customers to resolve complaints. Because we are not a government or law enforcement agency, we cannot force a reply from a business; nor can we administer sanctions. However, a business' unwillingness to respond to us or a customer will be noted in the business' reliability report we provide to the public. The customer is free to pursue other alternatives such as legal action. "

I always chuckle a little inside when I see people toss around the threat of contacting the BBB. So many people seem to have some delusion that it is an entity with actual power when in fact it doesn't do much more than collect ratings of firms.

In summary: contact the BBB all you want about TriSlim and its incestuous sibling firms. I guarantee you that TriSlim doesn't give a flying *@&#, as its operations are clearly not based on its reputation whatsoever. The firm already have a F rating with the BBB, it's not going up.... and it's arguably not doing anything either.

Just my two cents. Again, the drama that they have put you through is awful, but the BBB is not your savior.

Oh man i'm so pissed the charges came right back on my account now i have a negative balance. How can you tell people that they sign up for something because its on the top of your website(its doesn't even say colocure but cleanse your system) and not even mentioned in the terms of service,trislim/colocure are some shady motherfuckers.
I noticed someone on the teamxbox forums having the same problem with a code from amazon, its defitely a problem on amazon's side,

http://forum.teamxbox.com/showthread.php?t=617315
I can't visit that link at the moment, so I can't see if he ever got his issue fixed. My problem is that the person I spoke to at Amazon said he wasn't even legally allowed to discuss the order at all with me since it was not my amazon account that made the purchase.

The Colo Cure refund showed up yesterday. Three amounts $44.95, $5.00 and $4.95. Thank goodness.

I have to admit, I thought the BBB pursued legal action regionally.

Glad you got you're full amount back plus shipping some of us weren't that lucky.

hey dudes just a quick update regarding the PC Bug Doctor problem many of you may be having:

I just received a full refund from PC Bug Doctor and successfully terminated my subscription with them. Keep trying guys I'm sure you can all achieve this as well.
Not quite. I think they're actually blocking our email addresses. I got a similar message to yours, but mine also included this:

Message rejected. Please visit http://www.google.com/mail/help/bulk_mail.html to review our Bulk Email Senders Guidelines.
So, yeah, we got blocked. I'm done with this company. Any charges that I don't receive a refund for I will contact my credit card company about.
Big quote
I recommend the BBB, regardless. Yes, they aren't some end-all God-like organization that will guarantee your money back, and they have no real authority over a lot of companies. But I don't think any of the companies I have had issues with in the past were BBB accredited (or whatever they're called). I believe one also had an F rating, like you mentioned this company was. And yet, they still jumped quickly at the chance to provide me my refund. (Although, in both cases, they tried to spin their comments so that I looked like the guy that "forgot to cancel or read the T&C") I don't konw what happened behind the scenes to make them want to refund, but they did.

Plus, it just doesn't hurt to see a ton of complaints about one certain company. Letting as many people know about the scam company is never a bad thing.

So this is why I haven't got the 4000 point card in the mail yet? They are emailing the codes out? I still haven't gotten an email either, ordered April 4th.

Same here. Ordered it on April 7th and haven't received either one.

man, they need to release something bigger than 4000 points, cuz i just went thru 8000 in the last 3 weeks and i don't want to keep wasting credits on points lol

AND more XBL goodies r coming out soon like Virtual-On and MAYBE Marvel Vs. Capcom 2....god i love that game

just got off the phone with my bank and trislim customer service. apparently i have been refunded in full by the company it just hasnt gone through yet. thank God....

That is awesome you got your money back 41, i had to goto my bank and they said i would get my money back.

thanks man.

quick question: so those of you that have been getting the 4000 point cards.... theyve been getting delivered electronically via email, and theyre guaranteed to work? reason i ask is because i need some quick paypal and i might ebay it...that way i dont have to worry about shipping it either. i can just email the code.

I definitely wouldn't say that they're guaranteed to work, considering mine didn't work. Amazon and MS couldn't help me, so I had to email Trainn, and hopefully they will get me a replacement code somehow.
They really need to put ufc undisputed on the games list the demo is really fun.
I've got 2 credits sitting just waiting for it to be added. As long as it's up in time to order so we get it within a day or two of release, I'll be happy.
They really need to put ufc undisputed on the games list the demo is really fun.
Got a tweet today that Trainn will add UFC and Bionic Commando in the next week or two, for what that's worth. ;)

Wow...sorry to hear about the problems you guys have been having with your offers. Makes me feel bad about the questions I'm about to ask...

I was searching the thread and was wondering if anyone has done Netflix lately? I know they have the "22 day, then become a member before it credits" thig going on. How long does it take to credit these days?

I signed up March 28th and still haven't gotten a credit yet. (Yes, I stayed a member...I love the streaming xbox feature.) I dread filing an MCR because every one I have done in the past six months has been denied,so I'm holding off until absolutely necessary.

From what I remember, Netflix has always been pretty good about crediting. I know it took quite a while to credit for me--perhaps even past the stated 22 days. My recommendation would be to wait maybe until mid next week before submitting the MCR. But I wouldn't see any reason for your Netflix MCR to get denied unless you don't have the signup email anymore.

Totally unrelated note: got a complete refund from ColoCure. Well, 3 separate ones, actually. So that's all done.

Now, oddly enough, yesterday I see a flag on my account for suspicious activity, and I call in to see what's up. There's a 1.01 charge on my card from something that sounded like "Quarter," though I made the lady repeat it four times and still couldn't totally understand it. Anyway, didn't make any sense to me. I don't suppose anyone else has seen something like that. They canceled the card, so now I'll probably never actually see the charge posted. It does make me wonder what it's related to, though, especially with such a weird sum as 1.01. It wouldn't usually cross my mind that it might have been brought about by one of these offers, but after ColoCure, it just wouldn't surprise me anymore.

I love TRAINN. Told them I didn't receive my 4000 point card so they had another one emailed to me today, the other got lost in the mail or something. I like how they are emailing the codes now. Was a little worried I wouldn't get my points in time to buy Banjo Tooie.

I didn't say there were any, just think you've being a bit overdramatic saying the site is dead. I still have credits and am still ordering games. If that's the sign of a dead site, then I'd love to find some more dead sites.

Yeah i still got credits and are waiting for them to add some games, the site is far from being dead.

dude, no one here owes you anything. if you feel like the site is "dead" (which i have no clue why), then dont use it anymore. im sure you would be doing us all a huge favor if you would just go away.
