I talked to CHEAPY and he said it was okay for us to do these refferals as long as we keep it all in one thread. It shouldn't get locked from now on out.
-------------------------------------
OFFICIAL RULES (Guidelines for conga taken from Flyertalk forums)

This thread is for people who properly used this conga line to create a FreeFlatScreens.com account. If you already have a FreeFlatScreens.com account from another source, DO NOT POST YOUR REFERRAL LINK HERE.

Any referral link posts that do not follow the rules below will be ignored and/or deleted.

READ AND FOLLOW THE RULES BELOW CAREFULLY, OR YOU WILL NOT BE QUALIFIED FOR YOUR FREE FLATSCREEN

OFFER DETAILS:

This is another pyramid-type deal by the same company that is doing the freeipods thing. If you don't believe it...I suggest you go check out flyertalk forums where several people have already received their TV's. It's no scam friends. This is the real thing...

Note: It is okay to sign up for both the ipod and the flatscreen.

They are also offering free flat-panel monitors and flat-screen TV's.
Really? FREE?
Yes. The way it works is that you have to sign up for an offer with one of their partners - these are businesses that give them money for referring customers. Then 8 more people have to do the same thing, using the link you are given when you sign up. Many of these offers can be fulfilled without actually spending any money. ancestry.com, for example, you can sign up, and then just call and cancel within a week, and you will not have to pay anything at all. Many other offers are fulfilled by ordering some product, which you can then return for a full refund (be sure to read the terms carefully before signing up for any offer, you are responsible for your own actions!). A new addition is the EBAY offer which is going to make it much easier for us to move through the list in a timely manner.

Basically, this is how it functions.
Use the first link in this post as a referral to sign up at FreeFlatScreens.com. DO THIS FIRST!
Post your link, along with the name of the person whose link you used AND THE OFFER COMPLETED, to this thread.
I will add your name and link at the bottom and, if all goes well, it will be your turn at the top of the list.
Whenever someone signs up under you, report back to us about whether they have completed their offer or not. If they don't complete their offer, we need to know so that they can be removed from the list.

If you have already signed up for a flatscreen, It is NOT okay to re-register under a different email address in order to join the conga. Your referral will be disqualified if you do this. We're sorry, but that's the way this company works. You might even be disqualified for just clicking on more than one referral...

After the person you signed up under report that you have completed your offer, you get a + after your name. If you don't complete your offer in a timely manner, you will be removed from the list!!
IF YOU DON'T FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS, YOU WILL NOT BE ADDED TO THE LIST.
IF YOU DON'T COMPLETE ONE OF THE OFFERS IN A TIMELY MANNER, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST.
IF YOU REGISTERED AT FREEFLATSCREENS.COM MORE THAN ONCE, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE LIST
After a person has 8 referrals, their link is taken down and the next person is at the top of the list.

Please also read the end of the thread to see if more people have signed up since the list was last updated. If they have, and you are pretty sure the top person has all 8 referrals, go ahead and use the next referer. Be sure to include the name of your referer!

Another thing that should be obvious to everyone: by definition, not everyone who joins this chain will be able to get their free flat-screen from this forum alone, you can always refer people from elsewhere to fulfull your goal. That's how pyramids work.

Here is the current list of referers, along with an estimate of how many sign-ups they had at the time of last update.

GOOD LUCK!!

PLEASE FOLLOW THE APPROPRIATE ORDER, USING THE FIRST LINK BELOW TO SIGN UP

Is the auction that you bid on over? I had to wait for it to end, then the next day I got credit for the offer.

Plus, it is the weekend.....

yea the auction is over already and i still aint get credit for my thing yet
do u think its because i completed it while it was on but now since its not there anymore i wont get credit for it

I have 5 pending & 4 completed. The quicker people finish their offers, the quicker we can move this conga along, so hurry up!
Just kidding, sorta... I know it has a lot to do with the company.

Does anybody know what the longest is takes to get credit for an offer?

I honestly doubt I will ever get the TV but by me signing up and I can proably help someone get a TV then I am all for it.

I did the Columbia House DVD Club, and it says that it could take a week for my membership to be approved. So, I'm not sure if we have to wait on that.

But, people, spread the word of THIS Conga line to everyone you know. Hey...it's one free offer. Or, like me, a $2.45 offer to complete. What's to lose. And, of course, I get 5 DVD's also.

That's real decent of you. I'm doing the same thing on the freeipods conga. I doubt I'll get an ipod, but it doesn't hurt to help someone else. I just hope the ebay offer comes back so people can sign up free.

Madness256 has completed his offer (a while ago actually). So give him a "+". That doesn't change my completed total, but I wanted to make sure he got his credit.
My offer was completed and credited, so please ad a "+" to my name on the list
Yes, add his "+"

BTW, for people who did the ebay offer just before the transition & didn't get credit, you may want to consider doing a different offer. At the very least, contact customer service to ask if you're going to get credit. The ebay offer shouldn't take this long.

My offer has been credited this morning. Please add my +. Thanks a lot. I hope this conga keeps going so it can get to me before this thing ends, whenever that may be. O well at the very least I helped someone get a tv.

I read on another post that Gratis Internet actually stopped the eBay, as well as crediting people who completed the offer. Because people were signing up that already were eBay members. Thay also said they won't give manual credits for eBay completion.

And, for those of you on the bottom of the list....goto:

Bytesizedeals.com

And create a post on the conga line I formed under Forums/"Other Deals" and post that you signed up under "TVCrazy", and what offer you completed and your link.

I'll add the first 3 people that post to that conga line, so they'll have a little easier time completing.

Thanks JamesM4321. I signed up on that site and posted. I would have signed up under your referral link, but I already used the first non-completed link for this conga line. Thanks for adding me

Lionheart4life, I did add your link to the other conga line. And anyone else here...there's still 2 spots I'm giving away...but make sure you say that you joined under "TVCrazy" or "iPodCrazy" to have your existing link posted on that congaline at the "Other Deals" forum on ByteSizeDeals.com

If anyone HAS gotten their FREE Flatscreen, if you could post about it on my own conga line, as well as here so that people trying to decide whether or not to join will have a little more faith.

My Conga line is at:
http://www.bytesizedeals.com/viewtopic.php?t=782

Again, I'm not trying to take any business away from this conga...but trying to help a few of us out that are on the bottom. That way members of that other forum can sign up under us. People here should still sign up under this conga, and eventually it'll get to all of us, hopefully!

dam if i dont credit for the ebay offer that i completed then what other offer can i do that is free and doesnt require a credit card

I just got an email back from customer support. I had posted here before about how some jerk signed up with 2 emails on my account. I sent freeflatscreens an email about it & they said it won't affect my account, especially since he hadn't completed any offers.

I was a bit worried they would try to find an excuse to screw me.

In case you're curious here is my email & their response:

It is my understanding that you make your money off of unique referrals. As such I am requesting that you remove 2 of my referrals as I suspect that they might be the same person. I don't actually know this individual, but I'm guessing he found my link in my signature (I post on numerous message boards).

These are the 2 email addresses I want removed:
kevchieng@*****.com (removed so he doesn't get spamed - DaVinci42)
kevchieng@*****.net

Contact me if you need anything else. Thank you.

"kevchieng" has not completed any offers. Unfortunately we can't delete him from your account, but you should not have any problems. Your account looks clean. Please let us know if you have any problems later on. Thanks for your diligence.

Thanks,

FreeFlatScreens.com Support
Let's get this thread back to life, some new people need to join. Or head over to bytesizedeals.com for another conga line.
I would suggest we try to keep this conga going. If you post on other message boards, put a link to the conga in your signature. I've noticed we have had quite a few first time posters in this thread, so it's getting word of mouth somehow.

And not to bite your head off or anything, but IMHO its bad netiquette to post about one conga in another conga's thread. The only way these things work is to concentrate your efforts in one place.

*** And if you can, actually get friends & family (as long as you don't live with them) to sign up under your account. It will help the conga along & help more people get their item.

The only one I can think of is the credit card application, & you have to be approved to get credit.

I think that the AOL was accepting checking account numbers at one point, may have changed since I signed up though.

Also, their "contact us" link is working again, for anyone that had any customer service related issues.
