I'm just randomly browsing around YouTube and ran across a bunch of game glitches. I thought it'd be cool to post some that you find that you thought were insane/funny..

I found this one. A guy made a video thinking he found a glitch in Tiger Woods 08 where Tiger was standing on the water. It was dubbed the "Jesus shot". EA, claiming it wasn't a glitch at all (and just having fun with it), decided to make this video..

worst game glitch to me was that one in God of War 1 where the game locked up in the worst places. happened to me a few times during the kratos clone battle and once during the final hades battle after id hit him with the final blow.

also had bioshock glitch on me during the part where you had to escort a little sister. she goes around collecting adam from corpses and for some odd rason she kept poking this one over and over and wouldnt keep moving.

Some of the SOCOM 1 glitches were hilarious on multiplayer, but they ultimately became so numerous that they ruined the game.

I'm actually worried about how current generation games won't stand up to the test of time. Game fixing patches are standard industry practice now and servers supplying those patches won't be around in the future. I can still play NES games to this day but I don't thing people can play this gen games 15-20 years from now. Especially the DLC games.

Yeah some glitches but not game breaking ones like GTA4 and Fallout3. I doubt anyone will have any fun playing the GTA4 decade from now without any patch.

The Beyond Good & Evil Glitch that didnt let you get past some certain point or didnt save properly (i forget) ....that pissed me off and i never finished the game

I assume you are talking about GTA 4 for the PC?

PC gaming always had glitch plus patch problems. It isn't a new age thing for PC. Also, once something is put on the internet, it never disappears if you look hard enough. Also, who cares if you can play current games 15 years down the line anyway. Why not play the newer games!?

bullshit. I got Super Empire Strikes back for the SNES one year for Christmas...exchanged a bunch of copies only to find out there was a hard freeze at the same part in every copy. I'm sure that's not the only game that has had game breaking bugs before this gen. and other games were just so sloppy that they would probably get patches to smooth out the edges today.

lets not sugar coat the past: patches are a good thing.

A pretty bad one in recent memory was the SNK vs Capcom Cardfighters glitch for DS that doesn't allow you to finish the game. In a new game + you replay the game going through diffrent routes in order to collect all the cards. But once you reach one fellow card battler near the top floor he never initiates his battle. He needs to be beatin in order to progress. So you're stuck, unable to finish the game completly at 100%

SNK apologized for the mistake and issued out "glitch" free copies. However this took months. I wonder if the glitch free copy will be worth anything. To my understanding they never did a recall to stores. You had to register your game & mail it in within a certian timeframe. And that offer only lasted for a few months so you can't even do it anymore. I'm pretty sure all new copies are glitched.

K, games had major glitches even before this gen. But we now have more because developers know they can always release the patch for it. To one guy above, no I'm not talking about PC games. Unlike PC games where patches can be archived somewhere, we can't do that on consoles.

This seventh generation and onwards could be the dark ages of video games when games became disposable and lost to history. DLC games will be the first casualty of it when developer and/or publisher goes of business and lose the source code for it. There won't be any hard copies around to recover that unless they can hack the few copies around remaining in some consoles with still working harddrive somewhere.

Anyway, back to my vinyl and 80s arcade machines :)

I always liked introducing my own glitches.

Encountered a terrible glitch on The Orange Box a few days ago. While playing Half Life 2 on Nova Prospekt, there's this room with a switch you have to press in one room to open a gate in another room. Well I pressed it, and the switch changed to red, and I had no idea what to do next. For three days I ran around trying to figure out how to get through the gate (I just assumed the switch was for something else I was unaware of since I figured there was no way they'd make a glitch that bad) until I finally gave up and decided to look up a walkthrough which simply said the button was supposed to turn green and the gate should open. So I had to restart the level and then it worked fine.

Baldur's Gate 2 shipped with a game crippling patch in which you couldn't enter one of the central areas where two of your possible characters were present. The patch for it was ~9mb. I had to download it over 56k. Took about 4 hours if I remember correctly.

Just be glad we have the bandwidth to make patches quick and painless!

Today during a match of gears 2 I downed someone and right when I hit him I died for no reason. It said that he beat me down...

Then I lost my connection to xbox live.

Gears 2 multiplayer is a glitchfess.

Arc Tonelico 2's final boss (PS2 RPG from NIS America) must be beat in the first 3 turns of the fight or the attack he unleashes will freeze the game.

I think this is a glitch. I have all but one star in Super Mario 64. The last one I THINK I can't get because the last time when you can catch the rabbit to get a star, I dove to catch him and then flipped up as soon as I got him. So before the star could be rewarded, Mario went bounding into a painting/next level.

I didn't think much of it and thought I could just try to catch the rabbit again when I got done running that level. Well... The star wasn't waiting for me and the rabbit never spawned again. So, no Yoshi for me. Still. *Glares at dusty 64* To lazy to play it all over again to say I competed it lol.

I've heard of this glitch. Is there a way around it? I own the game, but haven't played it yet. I'd like to know if there's a solution to this problem.
