Silly question. Do the games activate on Steam?
I think all of the games that have a daily deal require Steam. I'm not sure about every single game in the main list though.

You can easily see if a game will activate on Steam though. Just visit the game page and look for the warning that the game requires Steam.

Here's an example from on of the games that's currently listed on the sale page.

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I'm primarily looking at Kane and Lynch. My sister and I recently completed Kane and Lynch 2 so I wouldn't mind owning the first one.

The original Kane and Lynch unfortunately doesn't activate on Steam. I think Just Cause 2 and Kane and Lynch 2 were some of the first SE games that required Steam.

Green Man Gaming sells a version of the original that activates on Steam. It's $6.99 though, but it might go cheaper if they decide to match the Gamefly sale. http://www.greenmangaming.com/s/us/en/pc/games/action/kane-lynch-dead-men/

Deus Ex is such an amazing game. For those that haven't played it, you're so lucky you can score it for under $5.

I bought that day 1 and have no regrets. I made a rule that I wouldn't let anyone see me and that I wouldn't kill anyone (except bosses) on my first playthrough. If I was spotted, I restarted.

Such a fun game.

I once bought an EA game off Gamefly DD. Wow. What a nightmare that was.

Gamefly only has support via email for DD. The game required me to have a Bioware account, Origin account, etc. Then the DLC that came with the game wouldn't load.

I got everything resolved, but it was a huge pain in the but. Called Origin customer care and had to email Gamefly back and fourth.

Kind of amazing that TR is 5 months old and I can get it for 80% off it's original asking price.  Probably in for that, being that it will be on sale on payday and all.  Thanks Cheapy.

I loved the game. This first three hours are filled with *far* too many quick-time events. But after that, it settles in pretty nicely.

And I have no idea why I kept looking for all the collectibles - they must be like crack to me. ("Collect random junk to upgrade my already-overpowered shotgun to fire shrapnel from its grenade launcher attachment? Sure, why not....")

Guess they aren't in any hurry to get that big list going... interested in the original Deus Ex.  What time zone is the 10 AM supposed to be?

Great price for Tomb Raider.

Isn't this the lowest price?
Yes.

I got it for very close to this when Amazon matched Steam's 12.50 and had a 10% off coupon.

Should have waited though because alas... I of course have not even played it yet.

I am waiting now to see what price Hitman Professional Edition is and not just the standard.

Already have TR CE for ps3, very tempted to grab it for PC at this price.

duh, looks like I am too late .

Poop.

Professional Edition is not on par with the extreme discount of the vanilla Absolution today.

*EDIT*

Just got the standard edition. $5 is not bad and I will just get some DLC later maybe when it is on sale on Steam.

Thanks Cheapy.
