I knew I couldn't escape spending money tonight, even with the deals postponed. To anyone that bought New Vegas recently, XBL marketplace started a Bethesda sale like I was hoping it would. Its only offering Dead Money and Honest Hearts but 10 dollars is better than 20.
 
Got my Duke Nukem today. I know I shouldn't complain since the prices are unbeatable and I know I'm in the minority, but every game I've ever gotten from them is scratched just enough to where I can't trade it in anywhere when I'm done with it. Not a big deal but it would be nice to eventually unload it. They always install and play fine so I know that's the most important thing, but hey, the cases and manuals always look great!
 
Amazon prime really has spoiled me when it comes to shipping. I completely forgot how long it could take to get a package without two-day shipping.

Anyone ever purchase games from Gamefly? I know they're a rental company so I am very concerned that I will be getting some mangled game like 99% of the used games at Gamestop.

You know you can add other accounts to your prime account to share the shipping, right? It's in your amazon prime settings... Like up to 5 other accounts I believe..

I've only used gamefly once but I got a mint condition red faction from them. Hopefully that continues
 
I got my Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 360 (or as I prefer, Hottest Party) and it says it's the limited edition, but the only code in the case is for the online pass. Is there supposed to be some other download code for the limited edition content, or is that on the disc?

That online pass is the one. It also unlocks 2 cars exclusive to limited edition.

Well I finally got all my games but one. Spiderman finally came the case was all busted and disc highly scratched. I would complain but the game plays OK and I finally have it. It looks like it went through World War 2 trying to get to me though. Silly post office.

I think the reason why a lot of us are experiencing huge delays in receiving our orders is because Gamefly has to wait until the rentals come back.

I believe they look into their inventory to see how many copies of a particular game they have, and then Gamefly will put that amount on sale as their "nightly deals."

If a renter happens to be keeping that particular game for a week before sending it back to Gamefly, the poor soul who had ordered that disc would have to wait 1 week + the shipping time back to Gamefly + Gamefly's processing and shipping + the shipping time for it to get to us.

I'm not sure what the acknowledged shipping emails 1 day later from Gamefly is all about, since a lot of us are not getting their orders until 10 to 15 days later. :roll:

Same here, currently playing Undead Nightmare an always wanted to play original RDR. I'm also looking for ME 1 or 2, feel kind of stupid selling my ME2 copy and not giving it a shot.
 
I already have Red Dead on PS3, but if they do a deal on it and the price is good enough I'd probably pick it up on 360 to play again.

Such a great game.

You owned ME2 and sold it prior to playing it? You sir, should be stricken in your spot by the video game gods. I can't hate too much though - I had it sitting in my backlog for 10 months before getting around to play it...hands down, in top 5 games ever played.
 
For the Portal 2 Steam code that comes with your PS3 game, you need a Portal 2 disc to get it to sync up right? So how can people sell these codes on Ebay? or better question is, why would anybody buy these code if you need the disc to redeem it? Are they buying it used @GS just to redeem it then return?

picked up Homefront, DNF, RF:A, Singularity

HF and RF:A arrived with case, manuals, and games in pristine, brand new conditions.

Took about a week for HF and a couple days for RF:A
DNF was ordered before all and shipped after all, still waiting in it, and Singularity

I have had lots of issues with 360 discs. PS3 has been ok.

I keep hoping for a $10 Shadows of the Damned, but realistically, I doubt they ordered enough copies of that as rentals to bother putting it up for sale :( I've got a fairly short list of wants, so I expect to keep my wallet in my pocket tonight. Prove me wrong and take my money, Gamefly!
